2024 Training With The Ooze Crew

Yes Miller training down back.

Every site now showing Tom Brown as 193cm compared to an AFL Rookie Me Now that him 186cm in Draft year, I am not sure Tom Brown even knows how tall he is :)
Miller needs to be a KPD and not used as as a makeweight ruck or forward if he is going to make it this season but the jury is out if he will. If Mansell can teach him some mongrel and Bakes a bit of heart in a contest then maybe.

Yes, what a waste ot talent Sydney was. That hit on Viney, 4 goals against the Saints, his first game against GWS unreal.
I still can't believe that *smile* clubs like freo or WC haven't picked him up.
That ankle injury at the end of 19, ended his career at Punt Rd.
But he was unbelievable in the early part of 2019.

Easy not to like him as a commentator but Cornes was a damn good, if not great player and thoroughly deserved 300 games regardless of his surname.

Career average of 23.5 disposals across 15 seasons including seven seasons averaging 25+ disposals. Oh, and he did all that while playing predominantly as a tagger and often shutting down the oppositions best midfielder.
I think he went 18 or 19. just near our pick.
Was hoping he wd get to punt Road.

Jnr is a limited footballer but rumours of him being lazy and uninterested are getting blown way out of proportion.
He went into the off season with a hamstring tear so would have been restricted in what he could do.
He has also previously been asked to play a thankless role that has churned through many a few small forwards under Hardwick.
Not even close to Stack in ability or desire. Stack was a waste. MJR may simply be a casualty
In the end Stack determined his own fate in the AFL and MJ will do the same. If he wants it bad enough he will make it if he doesn’t he won’t. This has to be a make or break year for him.

Based on past performances, I reckon Miller is in his final year if he doesn’t make a huge step up.
Yep, make it as a back or bust. Doesn’t have what it takes to be a fwd, is handy as a backup ruck but there are others ahead of him now

He is a decent back up for Young if he gets injured. Has shown before he can play a negating role down back.
Can’t see any other role for him tbh

Agree. He's an ass hole, but he was at least a v good player.
Twice AA
Premiership winner
4x best and fairest winner in a pretty handy side.

Got to separate the achievements from the mouth.

Besides, being a "Great" in the Port Power AFL history isn't too hard.

Tom Brown: Forget the 2km time trials, endurance not his go, today he was winning the full length ground sprints, (maybe 150 meters or whatever the length of PRO is?), beating the likes of Kmac, Banks, Clark etc. I am the Choo Choo at the front of the Brown train, not sure if i have any passengers as yet
Been on that train for a while. Gets harshly judged on the forums because the recruiting team took some forward after him who's done pretty well.
Reckon this fella's speed/athleticism and skills are going to be exciting, if he can build his confidence at AFL level.
Hoping that he can fit Yze's game plan really well too.

Got to admit until Caesar’s recent report, I’ve never heard or equated Brown with speed. He’s not an endurance runner so if he can cover ground, he’s got another string to his bow.
Hope he plays multiple senior games and takes the next step up.
I’ve still got him behind Trezise though
