You're in terrific form, Dr. What's your take on Faull?
Least favourite of the early talls for me Dyemyhair. Solid KPF who has decent body size and uses it against smaller opponents. Good courage which is definitely a plus. Nice set shot kicking action and accuracy but overall is a below average kick, especially when he doeen't have time. You don't want him with ball in hand outside 50. Speed is average too. Not sure how much the back held him back, so to speak, so maybe a little unfair but not a first rounder for me.

Who cares how high he can jump if he can't catch it.

Doesn't matter anyway - the game is played 80% below the knees. Hope he can at least pick it up if he can't catch it.

He has many good qualities he can mark obviously but probably not as strong in contested situations. His main attributes are his decision-making, and he thrives in the contest.

STRENGTHS:

+ Agility
+ Kicking
+ Poise
+ Size
+ Stoppage craft
+ Versatility

IMPROVEMENTS:

- Burst speed
- Contested marking

All ball hunting mids are selfish. It can be worked on. And besides - you don’t have to give him the ball back. When surrounded by better and more experienced mids I’m sure he can learn to be more judicious in when he calls for the ball and to be in better positions when he does. Easier to teach than how to get your hands on it in the first place.
It’ll get sorted out in a pro environment quickly enough if he’s interested in learning which it sounds like he is.

Geez I like the guy. Comes into the season injured. Makes good - not excuses. Kicks more goals than points - way more. Goes hard, follows up, likes a bit of rough and tumble. Very usable.

Do the presenters give us a window into the draftee ?? eg Lalor - Dusty…….
Discuss.

Trying to get to 1000 pages…. 😜
