Is there data on his endurance running post season?Murphy Reid pre-season testing, probably a bit better now.
My thoughts were ,so vanilla that a 100% bust, but maybe not.

If North do that, then what? There is another possibility which is north will deal their F1 and keep pick 2.
For instance would GWS swap pick 15 and say their F2 for north’s F1?
They could offer us their F1 for our pick 11 ( which I probably wouldn’t take)
Melbourne are keen on Tauru so North can only trade with Adelaide or Carlton, it's hardly worth the trouble. If North do that, then what?
They have 2 and 15.
They gotta pick Taurantino at 2.
Say its a trade with us. They have 2 and 11.
Again their second pick is too late and Tauru will be gone. So they pick him at 2.
Breaking it apart it simply trading a future pick into this year. Everyone wants to do that. And it doesnt help them with Tauru. Or more specifically it doesnt help them get the Viking at the better price.
It's interesting. I posted this video of Smillie from this site a couple of weeks ago, some saw it, I can't find my post now, was it deleted? They've since removed the video, edited it and reposted it again. You can see a few cutaways now after he kicks. The previous he hit his targets with kicking maybe 30%, it was woeful. There must have been complaints, and fair enough, all the others highlight reels from other players look much more picky. I've based my opinions on Smillie's foot disposal on that reel and also game highlights focused on Smillie. He's very hit and miss. Again others who can afford the time to watch games live may have a better feel.
I have been on the Smillie bandwagon for a while and do not quite understand the concerns on his kicking
Think he is a great kick, excellent clearance player with a massive upside
Also do not think his ruckwork in the forward line gets enough credit, think he is Hawkins like the way he ragdolls his opponent and kicks goals, has done it plenty of times
A truly unique prospect, and for me far superior to Langford and Jagga, due to his size, versatility, high ceiling and athletic profile
Yep. And if they just trade F1 into 2024 and do nothing else, then they're not just reaming themselves once, but twice. If North do that, then what?

Main reason no one has won the premiership with players the same age is because no one has been in that position beforeCan't rebuild your list in one draft , no team wins flags with everyone the same age and you also don't want all your best players coming out of contract or being free agents at the same time -another top 5 or top 10 pick next year will still be very handy, in fact it's virtually a must.
Rarely does a draft come along where players are rated until a depth in the 30s n unless AFL manufactured there's never been a club with 8 picks in the first 24.Can't rebuild your list in one draft , no team wins flags with everyone the same age and you also don't want all your best players coming out of contract or being free agents at the same time -another top 5 or top 10 pick next year will still be very handy, in fact it's virtually a must.
Apart from the giants and Suns, both of which (particularly the Suns) had their stars leave as free agentsMain reason no one has won the premiership with players the same age is because no one has been in that position before
Seeing as neither club has won a premiership, the ages of their players at any time is fairly irrelevant.Apart from the giants and Suns, both of which (particularly the Suns) had their stars leave as free agents
Yep, getting a lot of players at the same age is great, but you need to be able to retain them as well. That's the hard part if they're to become premiership players for us.Seeing as neither club has won a premiership, the ages of their players at any time is fairly irrelevant.
I place his kicking in the good bracket but not good enough to be a designated kicker like Mundy or Yeo. His easiest path to an AFL career would be clearance specialist, he seems competitive enough, his tackles can be punishing at times. It's interesting. Edit: actually I just checked my history, it's another video. Still can't find my post. However,. my own conspiracy theory debunked by me.
Only time will tellI reckon the issue is because the talent runs so deep, people are highlighting the deficiencies to position one player over the other. Normally your only distinguishing between 3-4 players in a group. Given the top 25-30 all seem likely to be AFL capable, what better way to rank them than on what they can't do.
Every player coming in every year has deficiencies, we just don't talk about them because the positives make them stand out from their peers.
Our professional scouts and recruiting team, along with just about every other club, want into this year. That must tell you that league wide, it's realised there's talent to be had here.
