2023 Women's World Cup

She's one of, if not the best in the world for a reason. She's also the top scorer in the English League so she's got form in scoring against the England girls.

But they know her too .

*smile* *smile* *smile* *smile*.

That was attrocious defending.

Always at risk on a counter when we subbed a defender for a midfielder and we're pushing hard.

Hate to say it but Kerr's miss in front of goal was devastating.

We had some good chances we didn’t take. And did the same panicked defending we saw against Nigeria. That’s the difference at this level.

Carpenter killed us. The #1 rule of defending is keep your body between the ball and attacker.

Really missed Kennedy

I agree, it unsettled the defence somewhat losing her. I assume she was injured?

I couldn't believe it when Kerr missed that volley, and for England to go pretty much straight down the other end and finish the game made it worse unfortunately for her. You could see her face at the end, clearly blamed herself, but she shouldn't. Scored an amazing goal at such an important time and the game could have gone either way from that point on.

Yeah that wasn't the best, she actually got decent position but wasn't in control of her movement and then ended up completely off balance and couldn't deal with the ball.
