How unlucky were adelaide!!!!
Gagf, after all the crap we had to get through we deserve another 3 to 5 years of preferential treatment in the big game.

I stopped watching it after the Rance free kick where Betts shoves him out. The caption is Betts clearly had eyes on the ball. He did. AFTER shoving Rance out

Rance was also only looking at the ball.

reading through the youtube comments, this 'crows fan' was a 'swans fan' last year and did the same thing then. In other words a troll.

Pretty good trolling though! A lot of effort for some cheap lulz

its the nature of our game. The interpretation of our game is what makes is so unique. There are about 40-50 free kicks paid per game via 3 umpires who can have a different view of the call. There are about 50 more free kicks that are missed and of those paid 10-20% might be incorrect. That is our game, that's AFL !!

How about Richmond making the AFL Grand Final after finishing 18th for free kicks paid in 2017!!!

The you tube clip possibly has some merit IF they lost by >10 points... but they didn't, 8 goal loss (9 goals before Camerons late goal)...

Thanks for that. They're sending me a new DVD too.

Does that mean on the new batch of DVDs the sync issues have been fixed? That is they have had time to back and do the technical stuff the company guy mentions?

I must be the only PRE not to have bought one yet.

Got victory pack. Watching GF. Beautiful. Reckon I spotted a PRE stalwart going crazy at the punt road end in the third quarter after Graham's second goal.

Fella sitting next to me (Tom) marked one of Grahams goals. Everyone around us went mad :) trying to touch the ball !!
:clap :clap :rofl :rofl

Technically it was probably one of Gillons balls :hihi

after a few more watches, couple of obs. Townsend wasn't just a solid physical presence, I would have been happy with that BTW, he was brilliant. So many quick, blink and you miss them aggressive acts of support for team mates. I'd have him in the best, admittedly the best would be 10 players, but he'd be in there. He gets better with each viewing.

Houli's physical presence, wow. He smashed 2 packs, was in and under like an obsessed terrier a few times. There was once in the third where the ump was about to blow the whistle for a ball up on the HBF, Houli just dives into the pack and smashes ball out to Dusty, absolutely superb piece of play. I didn't think he had it in him, not to that extent anyway.

Tried the SEN commentary, OMG, woeful. 'Dusty gets a Colvan Chips handball out to Dion Prestia on the Meadow Lea the great tasting margerine HBF position who kicks a long Radio Rentals drop punt to Jack Riewoldt who takes a PATRA ORANGE JUICE SCREAMER!'

can't listen to it

:hihi

surely colvan chips cant afford Dusty?

Absolutely agree with this re Townsend.
I too was impressed in this game and the other finals.
He is an old fashioned footballer who makes the game easier for those around him.
He is a great mark, an accurate kick and a fierce tackler.
Perfect for the role he has now, not suited to being an on baller.
He is the ideal forward pocket foil for those around him.

I don’t think there was a player who had a poor finals series, I think players either played to there standard or above, the team it self gelled as good as any ever has.

Watched the preliminary final again yesterday. The irony of the situation is that Townsend is just the player that GWS need. Someone who will do the hard yards just to make it easier for his high pick mates and make them look good. GWS has all the talent in the world but not keen to scrap and fight for the hard ball enough and when you don't have the ball.

I thought exactly the same LR.

We have a couple of enigmas in the side, and Towner is one of em.

I really hope he can cement his place.

He has a lot to give and is made for pressure, team first, footy.

when you think about it, the game plan we won the flag with is almost impossible to coach against (what are you gonna do? get the runner to distribute bubble suits?),

and cant really go out of fashion.

I love the Towner easy, however as silly as it sounds, considering his just become a Premiership player , I don’t think he’ll play a lot of senior footy, unless we have a bad injury run. I see players like J Graham, C Ellis , D Rioli playing more midfield time which will allow Caddy , Martin and the Skip spending more time forward , also think there will be another tall in the forward line I.e Moore, Griffiths or maybe Hampson for many games, all this I think will push Towner out.

I assume you meant to type "don't" between the "I" and"think".
