The only reason your grinning mate is Tigerdog saved your bacon from stuffing us up tomorrow and slowing everyone down again.

It's such a burden carrying your weight mate, I don't know how U2 does it!

hhhmmmmmmmmmmm caugh caugh - the pick please - ;D

Wouldn't laugh just yet, it's your pick next - everyone inhale and get ready for a big belly laugh

This is the guy I have been really sweating on being able to get this late, been shocked how many players of his type have gone before him.

Absolute gun.

Jed Adcock - Brisbane

Very nice HBF player - nice pick.

He was meant to go in the midfield before now - just don't think hes done as well there as many said he would though - HBF is his spot.

Brissie love his training ethics - hard worker.

Was in my preference list....thought against going a Back Pocket for now ;D

Just kidding, love Jed for reasons you know about mate, great get was considered.

This pick is a pick a player I really like pick.

this player IMO -

1. A steal this late in the draft.
2. 1 of the most underated players in the game -
3. future All Australian
4. One of my favourite Non Tigers

I am wrapped Daniel Pratt is now on a HBF for me.

Nice one, I did consider him, Adcocks versatility won me over for match ups.

Great get, different player types anyway match up wise.

Edcock is a great get - have to scrub him off my list now, was getting very close, but as U2 said (who was in love with this guy last year - it was embarrassing really) he's struggled a bit in the midfield, and was best suited of half back - based on history. That was his only knock for mine.

So now it's up to the Pooper and Capt before I get my pick - I'm about to leave Bris, have my permission to text or phone me over the next two hours if that assists - I have my list

Johncock
Edcock
Laycock

ooops, sorry that was DD's list from the other day. Better throw that one away, oh no, he's got one more on there to go.......geez

Scoop picks Jarrad McVeigh (Sydney)

Definitely the biggest bargain of the draft so far.

Swans B&F winner, if I didn't need a CHB so much he would be part of my line up slotting nicely on the wing.

Great pick up.

There are so many others I want too, but I think I;ll regret it if this guy goes - and we are talking over all injuries:

Josh Drummond - Bris

Great pick up.

one of the best breakout years for anyone last year.

going to be big fantasy scorer this year.

Keeping in mind this guy was a clear second in the Lions B&F in 2007.

Made the 40 man squad for All Australian.

Ranked 1 at Brisbane for kicks, effective kicks and tackles in 2007.

Played 1st 14 rounds as a defender and then blitzed in the midfield (not sure what you guys are saying he failed)...IN the last 8 rounds of 2007 he averaged 23 disposals, 7 contested, 6 inside 50s, and 7 tackles per match. He layed more tackles in that time than anyone in the league and second for inside 50's and frees for. That is a elite midfielder performance!

In total his disposal efficiency was 83% and as a midfielder 81%.

He ranked 18th in Tackles in the league this year (i like tackling players, he's got 10, 11 tackles in games).

Sure he dropped off this year due to a few things but he showed lastyear he could perform at a elite level and he did get 30 possessions this year, showing he can crack it.

I see him as my ultimate lock down type player if i need him as well as a player to play on gun smalls and in the midfield.

Wouldn;t disagree on his 2007 form - just didn;t make the transistion in 08 to permanent mid when they really needed him. On his 07 form, the Lions would have made the 8 this year - they didn;t, the rest is history

I thought we were about to get a run on HB Flankers.

That's why I took Adam Selwood. I reckon he's the best of the lot.
