So who did you want mate.
Well the guy I wanted is still an assistant at another club.
O'Donnell.
Hasn't been given a chance as a senior coach yet but at least I can't say he's been a failure.
May get the chance to coach next year..

I wanted Eade, although his methods are looking shaky at the moment.

Who heard Mark Doran?

Bagged all the Richmond supporters for dissing Wallace.

A few Richmond supporters rang up and explained to him that most negativity about Wallace was coming from opposition fans.

He then turned full circle and replied that that's because Wallace wasn't good at the Bulldogs for 10 years.

I think he actually meant it was Bulldog supporters who hate Wallace who are being negative about him.

It's the *smile* list he inherited. ;D

I think he's still concussed from the 1995 semi final. And bears a grudge.

I dunno anymore, I've just been seeing it for too long. We bring in a new coach all full of enthusiasm, get a bunch of kids who are going to drive Richmond to glory, get rid of a few hacks, then a few years down the track the kids haven't worked out and have become the hacks we got rid of and we do it all over again. I don't think it's ever going to change. Sigh.

Worst season ever... a 1-1-20 record would be proof but I think we'll win at least ONE more game this year... surely!

We suffered the worst loss in our entire history this year (157 points...) and will have the worst win/loss record too.

We did have a lot of close games early in the year though so it could have looked a little better.

I was one of those believers Oldie, I thought Wallet had the balls to wring a few necks and inspire that insipid lot down there. I also thought the messiah had all the tricks and could of landed us another Carey :p, but the cream of his selections haven't fired, and are firing blanks.

Bring me the dice so I can take another gamble at the coaching stakes. Let's roll the dice one more time and bring in Sheedy, if ain't gona work with him, it never will.

I was very pleased when we landed Wallace as well. I thought he'd have the mongrel needed to cull the crap playing list and recruit smart and skillful footballers and furthermore develop them once they got to the club. Well he's proven me wrong and he is currently an abject failure. He's fallen into the old RFC trap of completely overrating the dud list and is still recruiting duds that have no football brain and no skill. Our kicking has got worse if that's possible.

As for Miller, I was always dubious of his appointment and he has proven me right. On the field it is fair to say we are worse off than when he arrived 5 years ago. He is a snake oil salesman who just has no clue how to build a successful football team these days. He recruits lemons who can't get a game at other clubs; he recruits young players with high draft picks who are stupid footballers and can't kick; he hands out 3 year contracts to total underachievers like it's going out of fashion (Krakouer, Tambling); he removed a perfectly reasonable termination clause from Frawley's contract; the list goes on..........he is poison!! The sooner he pisses off the better. Although I'm not sure it really matters; I can't see this club ever dragging it's arse out of this eternal abyss.

Dud players, dud coaches, dud administrators, it's just a procession of failure.

My thoughts exactly Ridley.

I was just thinking the same thing last night. I doubt that we will win another game this year so this is probably gonna be our worst season ever and that will make this team our worst ever. I saw alot of the ordinary sides of the 80's and 90's and i think this group as a team are the worst i have seen. At least the 80's sides played with a bit of spirit to make up for the lack of class this curret team must think that spirit can only be found in a bottle. There are no excuses for our current form the team just really STINKS

Essendon and Carlton both went the chop chop on up to 12- 14 players each at seasons end of 05 and i reckon this season will not be a bust if the tigers do the same and draft properly. then the season hasnt been in vain ;)

This year was a culmination of 25 years of no leadership or little leadership both on and off the field.
25 years of quick fixes.
25 years of b/s from those in charge whether a coach or an off field administrator.
25 years on wrong decisions on players
25 years of overestimating and overpaying dud players.
This is a wooden spoon/season those in power at any time at the RFC in the last quarter of a century can be proud of.
We will not come close to winning another game this year bar the pies one in rd 19.
Hopefully the end of season tiger cull and the correct decision making in regards to the draft will help ease the pain of 2007 and give us hope in 2008.
To all those in power in the last 25 years at the Tigs Thankyou.
