Although there still remains 6 games for the season, 2007 not only looks like but most probably will be the Richmond Football Club's worst year ever.

In 99 years our worst win/loss record has been 1960 with 2 wins, 2 draws and 14 losses from 18 rounds.

Unless a miracle happens we won't win another game this year, making our solitary win against Melbourne our club's worst performance since we joined the VFL.

Since 1982 we have been a basket case, and in the last 6 years have finished 14th, 13th, 16th, 12th, 9th and 16th again this year.

All the high draft picks and pre-season picks have done nothing in this time. Without the appropriate personell guiding your list you may as well not have them.

Until this club gets the right people in place to pick and develop our list we will start our next 100 years the way we have finshed our first 100.

Where is the light at the end of the tunnell?

I say give Wallace a go for another year..

Look at Geelong last year and how they improved.

Media-damned if we do damned if we don't.

Who heard Mark Doran?

Bagged all the Richmond supporters for dissing Wallace.

A few Richmond supporters rang up and explained to him that most negativity about Wallace was coming from opposition fans.

He then turned full circle and replied that that's because Wallace wasn't good at the Bulldogs for 10 years.

LOL.

Media+hate Richmonds guts=very flawed views on Richmond in general.

Will look very good on Terrence's CV. Sure to be included.
His parents will be proud.

Still I can wear it this season if quality kids are picked up again and the pretenders are given their marching orders.
However if Wallace's 'improvement graph' doesn't pick up in a hurry next season there is no way on earth he'll be there in '09.

The way things are panning out, Wallet could be known as the Captain that steered the Ship to its doom.

I can see it now, Frawley pissing his pants from laughter.

That's the big worry GPB.
The believers thought that if Wally and co. couldn't lift this club out of the mire, nobody could.
Perhaps nobody can. :-\

I was one of those believers Oldie, I thought Wallet had the balls to wring a few necks and inspire that insipid lot down there. I also thought the messiah had all the tricks and could of landed us another Carey :p, but the cream of his selections haven't fired, and are firing blanks.

Bring me the dice so I can take another gamble at the coaching stakes. Let's roll the dice one more time and bring in Sheedy, if ain't gona work with him, it never will.

The Sheedy thing won't happen, people need to stop with this *smile*.

Interestingly Tuby I never wanted Wallace before he was appointed.
Just hoped it would work out more than anything.

I think thats what the club will do
And Wallace knows it after all the coaches leaving this year he had the reality check he needed to realise his head has just been placed on the chopping block.

As the saying goes
"Any last words?"
"1 more year please !"
"OK !"

Well the guy I wanted is still an assistant at another club.
O'Donnell.
Hasn't been given a chance as a senior coach yet but at least I can't say he's been a failure.
May get the chance to coach next year..
