17 Round Season!

More to follow.... apparently!

Cool, after we make allowances for blockbusters, who don't we play at all this season?

And how many games do we get at the G?

So at this point, we play all the teams once.

not sure if they will remove home or away games with the interstate teams.

so they’ve deleted games v

Adelaide
GWS
collingwood
WCE
Carlton:

17 rounds seems like a sensible place to start. At least the season has its integrity more or less intact.

Home ground advantage a bit of a non-factor during the time stadiums are empty.

Home ground advantage is only partly due to crowd participation/bias. Size and shape of ground and interference from prevailing winds would have a bigger influence. As would game style that suits the size of your ground

15/23 usually means Top 4.

65% win rate

= 11 wins/ 6 losses should be the double chance.

I hope this happens but I doubt it. Gil said if a single players test +, season over, didnt he?.

as if a player isnt gonna get it?

I dont really get the logic. for every positive test, how many would be undetected?

so Pendleburys test comes back + and she's all over before they start?

players to take a pay cut. I hope they trim the high end and keep the rookies (and Marlion) pay packet intact.

Unless you're playing WCE in Perth

I'd play footy on a rhomboid-shaped ground if it meant getting a fair go from the subjective umpiring in Adelaide and, particularly, Perth.

Umpiring bias costing us wins interstate is a misnomer.
They rob us everywhere

Standby for double headers....... and how's Carlton's form. Offering up Princess park as a venue for their home games! For the good of the competition

Still no certainty.

Has to approved by the players as we speak having a phone hookup !

ALFPA involved as well.

Then there is PENDLES ! His result will not be known for 48 hours after earlier reports he didn’t test for Cov-19.

There is still a lot to play out here.

Gill floated a different finals format as we know it- a final 10?

Also stated even if it takes 40 weeks to complete the season I heard mentioned too!

Also no guarantee he said of the GF at the G?

“Get ready for worse to come I reckon. “

If the season gets called off its gonna be tough for a raft of players that are coming into the season in the sights of the axe at seasons end they wont get a chance to save their careers

Me too. If I only knew what that was.

I think thee would be a couple of really tricky pockets you defend to, and a couple of more obtuse ones you attack through?

or am I thinking of a parallelogram oval?
