Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

does Ben and his addiction fit into our community plan.....

who heads this up perhaps a good question for him.

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

The suspense is hard to contain, come on Tigers get him!!!!!!!

I look forward to the PSD

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

Just like Judd was never going to play for us, some spanner in the works will stop Cousins playing for us also.

Luck is something the RFC does not know how to make or utilise!

Re: Cousins: The poll. Do you want the Tigers to draft Ben Cousins?

It was interesting reading the pre-season article on the RFC website

Greg mentions that it's bad coming last but on the upside get the first pick in the PSD
No mention about high ND draft picks
I reckon he has someone special lined up for the PSD (and no...not Harry's boy Cable Guy)
Maybe it's Cuz? or even better Rutten or Adcock???

We could go over old ground but I have nothing further to add to what I have already said, with one exception. Cousins is possibly the fittest 29 year old in the game. He has had no major injuries to speak of and to my knowledge only the one recent significant soft tissue injury, which is explainable.

If it is decided to take him on it would not be unreasonable to expect him to play for 5 more seasons.

And it would not be unreasonable to expect to him to go into rehab again next year.
Trite but yes Bill there can be no guarantees. If there were, one of the top 1/2 dozen over the last decade wouldn't be looking to enter the draft and in case you don't get it, come to us for nothing.

What I do get is we stand a strong chance of getting nothing, and if what has happened at the eagles is a guide, we may get a negative contribution. Stay well away.

Not the majority but OK your opinion. In any event it now looks like the WC are going to keep him which is strange because Demetriou said he had already been deregistered ?

Demetriou is always a model of consistancy. ::)

I see this as good news. Basically only leaves the PSD as the only option for Cousins in which RFC has pick 1 !

The only thing that can change now is the AFL force West Coast to keep Cousins to avoid a law suit but DON'T PLAY him but PAY HIM for a year.

Fancy that. If anything that would slow the whole process down. :headscratch ;D

Don't think it matters really. But I'll be interested to see Demetriou's next move.

Re: Ben Cousins missing

He's down in Compton helping the Crips regain some territory.
