Tiges V Coburg game day.

BTW both Campbell and Green are Baker clones. Clean with their ball use and both (particularly Steely) love the rough stuff.
Good then they'll be welcome in the seniors.

Seth and Jud are gonna cause some havoc in the future in the Tigers forward half, especially with their goal kicking.

Sonz great game, 31 disposals, 4 tackles, 6 clearances.

Bauer 3.2
Bradtke 2.3
Should have kicked 7 or 8 but take five for their second game as teammates.

If our kicking inside 50 (apart from Sonsie) wasn’t disgraceful, imagine the amount of goals those guys would kick?! Same issue as AFL level with the poor entries inside 50

I think the only thing holding Sonsie back was his match fitness, he's shown that he's above VFL level. Now it's time for him to be given a run in the AFL side.

Who does Sonz come in for as Martin and Hopper wil be back?

If we are serious about speed and form,

Its Jack Graham or Jack Ross for me JB

Yes Ross was good last night - i have him a vote.

But The Sonz is a serious footballer.

Smart, competitive, hard working, skilled, tough, quick,

And gets to stoppage after stoppage after stoppage.

I dont know what his numbers were today,

Ill stick my nuts out and say

my eyes said 30+ at 80%, 14-15km, 29km/hr ts, 8 tackles, 8 clearances, 7-8 i50s

He played on ball all day with very few breathers or rotations.

I know hes got AFL form so it sort of doesnt count,

But last vfl bloke i was this certain on was Bakes,

I'd probably agree with Ross or Graham, but for me Graham has way more credits in the bank. He was good in the 1st 2 rounds, poor last night when Ross was quite good, For me Sonz has to come in and replace Ross, we need the class in the team.

At this stage I don’t care who he comes in for, just get him in . Screaming out for a class ball user who can deliver it well inside 50

Seth Green is another Baker type, getting the hard little nuggets going at Tigerland
You may as well combine Seth Cambell and Steely Green as they look the same and play the same

I didnt realise what a competitor Sonz was until seeing and hearing up close at a suburban oval.

Hes an animal.

Hes also super smart - he gets from stoppage to stoppage by basically running to the middle of the options,

like a tennis player returning to the centre line after each shot to half the distance to the next ball.

Then he has the awreness and speed to get there.

Constantly where the ball is.

He also hits top speed after he disposes, on the overlap, a bit like Cotchy

And ive no doubt his use by foot was captured on the TV.

Jeez i love footy like that - makes me really miss Melbourne.

Teague was there all day, nank and melee for a half, juddy whole game.

He gets to contests like tarranto, but uses it significantly better.

Yep! Not many players are so equally dual sided to the point where you don’t actually know which is his preferred foot like Sonz though. One of the commentators in the EF actually thought he was a left footer until he lined up for goal last year. Taranto just needs a bit more composure, when he lowers the eyes he’s not a bad kick, he just hack kicks it out of contests too much

I can tell:ROFLMAO: but don’t worry I am a huge Sonz fan myself (and Taranto), he has the talent to be a serious AFL footballer. Looks like he’s put on some muscle and is much better defensively as well. Taranto is an elite defensive mid so he will complement the offensive brilliance of Sonz really well.
