Carlton 34 frees to Norths 21. 55 frees in a game seems pretty, not sure of the average number per game. But Carlton received TEN frees in their F50. We struggle to get 10 frees a game let alone in our F50.

I only watched the first quarter but in that time I saw 4 - 5 frees that Brisbane didn't get.

I don't know if it's deliberate or an unconscious bias but it's real. The Filth are kissed on the d!ck every week.

Except last week against the Saints. Laughed so hard - saints got an armchair ride from umps and colonwood got nothing. Watched with a pies supporter who was squealing like a stuck pig - have never enjoyed a pies game sooooo much.

The game is being over umpired in some areas and under umpired in others.
Some of the interference frees paid to forwards are incredibly soft yet it seems you can basically do anything to get rid of the football these days.

Thats right the RFC didnt think much of him.

I think he had a couple of good games amongst those snagged a few goals in one game against Port or Freo from memory.

8 games, averaged 5.2 disposals. Best game was arguably his first, when he had 10 touches and 2 goals v Essendon. Also kicked 2 (5 disposals) against the Dockers. We won that by a point and I think he kicked the winner? Which is why we remember him?

Curnow could in the next 10 yrs a '1000 goal kicker' BUT 60% of them come from soft frees that rattles the defender. Turning a 2-3 goal haul into a day out 5-6.
No other forward gets the any near the same treatment.
