Maybe you should start a swear tin Rosy.  Some members will end up paying for this site in no time. ;D
Big rumour that Eddie wants to jealously acquire Rosy's PRE site because the Collingwood one is impossible to read due to swear words and extremely low IQ within the posters.

When they log on they forget their name......

Has Joffa been posting again ;D

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Now I understand why people tell me " I'm all heart".
As a wise man once said " Let the good times roll" >:D

Which one is Joffa ? :hihi
Hey, we're insulting some poor gorilla now. Joffa is from a different evolutionary tree than the rest of us.

Bump.

Far too many of you seem to be unable to obey this simple site rule.

You'll notice that any post that breaks this rule will be deleted in its entirity and the offender issued a warning. You only get one warning before your posts will require moderator approval.

Really, it's not that hard to either express your angst without swearing or to just type the word and allow the filter to do as it sees fit.

I agree, I wouldn't even give people a warning.

It's not as if your speaking where words might slip....your writing in a forum, you think about what your gonna say first before you type.

If you get offended by the occasional grammar slip up, this isn't the place for you.

Gee, thanks for the tip. I guess the smiley face at the end of my post was indicative of being offended.

I don't know, I reckon there is a fair amount of typing without thinking.

Just out of curiousity,I do wonder whether there is a certain type of censorship being imposed on PRE when it comes to merging threads(or supposedly). Two recent posts of mine seem to have disappeared into cyberspace(no swearing,no abuse, just comment).I have queried this and been told "no,we have not deleted your thread, but merged it".The problem is on both occasions I have searched to no avail.I know,I know some here would suggest the thread was bulldust.Just wondering if others have noticed the same?

Have you tried viewing your profile and clicking on "Show Posts"? It shows all your posts and you should be able to find your post. Click on the post link and it will take you to the thread that your post was merged to.

You're mistaking this thread for the tech support and suggestions board. As Yinnar just told you and I told you by PM, you can always find your merged thread in your posting history.

No there's not any kind of censorship in regard to merging threads. Some people don't like their threads being merged but it's silly to have similar conversations on various threads. Better to post in an existing one if it's to discuss something that is already being talked about. This is a very busy forum and the forum housework is done to make it as user-friendly and orderly as possible for everyone

Not sure what you are inferring about threads "supposedly" being merged as though that's not the case. If you've been told they were merged I'm confident they would have been. If they were deleted and you questioned it you would have been told why. Please either post here what your messages were, or send me a PM, and I'll look into it.

From memory you made four or five unrelated points which were seemingly reactiont to the Carlton game. Making comments on a handful of things that are already being discussed in various threads doesn't make a good thread as I also told you by PM.
