Are/were all numbers available or just #32?

My son bought one here in Perth last week at the Mobile Tiger Den at the game, and the girl I spoke to said that they had these ones made to order, with 32 on them. They were selling pretty fast.

I also heard from the club that the 2009 jumpers are gonna be available end of march and end of april for the media polo's.

It seems the club wants to milk the Cousins brand for all it's worth and good on them for getting the $$ in but it's a shame they've put preference on #32 being out there ahead of the other numbers we've developed ourselves...3, 9 and 12 for example would be pretty popular too if they were available. I wanted to buy a Richo one for a nephew but will give him a non-Tiger present instead. I hope they have all jumpers available by the start of footy season.

They had at least 30 32s in the shop on Thursday, they didnt have the Luxbet logo, and were going for $130
good to see Tivendale finally get the recognition he always deserved.

One of the girls at work is a Dees supporter... sad I know, but she was saying that the MFC have a direct debit payment option for their memberships, ie you can pay it off over the course of the season.

Does the RFC have something the same and/or similar?

Yeah we do GR. From memory it's called the Rolling Tiger and payments are automatically debited each month. I think they carry over from season to season too.

Thanks Rosy, excellent, I should be able to get a couple more to sign up at the office then. Ben has been good for business, he certainly has made the recruiting process easier with the ladies ;)

We sold about 350 memberships yesterday at the family day and the membership tally sits on about 27,100 as stated by the membership dept...

Match day members; about 27,100...official figure will be put up soon on the website but its definitely around that mark at the minute...

Good increase again from last week, over 2,000 signing up...

2009 Season Membership:
16/2/09 Ticketed 25,050

Have to say, the club has milked the Cousins situation perfectly. Put him front and centre at certain functions and then usher him back to the training track, no doubt the membership and merchandise boost in sales can be attributed to the clubs smart marketing. I don’t think any other club in the AFL could have done it better. The fact that the reigning premiers only got 6,000 and another Melbourne powerhouse (Essendon) got 5,000 it really shows the strength of our fan base.

Yeah.

We've even managed to keep a bit of 'mystique' about him(If that is even possible in footymedia saturated Melbourne.)

It will be interesting to see how the bandwagon goes in the next 3 or 4 weeks with the Tigers now out of the NAB and no TV coverage to keep the hype going. The record will go that much is obvious, but will we go past the 35k mark?
