Will there be 20 players on the ground for Sydney?

LOL I'm sure we got the gist of it. Richo just needs to make it as obvious as possible to the white turds that he is being held. It's no use pushing & pushing. Try to push them off initially & then let it be known you are being held.

Problem with Richo is that he initiates a lot of the contact — umpires don't tend to pay holding if you initiate it.

overdoing the Alastair Lynch style push off a bit perhaps??? Get back on the lead Richo!!!!

[quote author=Hartbalme And preferably straight up the guts, not into the pocket  :-\

It would help if the blokes around him got out of his way & the ball came down with some sort of speed & accuracy ;D

Correctamondo, zips.

And if they don't get out of his way, run through them anyway. They'll move next time, guaranteed  ;D

he is a massive unit, but he is still amazingly quick, so just get the *smile* thing down there. Let Staff do the pushing & shoving in the goalsquare

I've noticed umpire tend to take care of Sydney when they play in Sydney. If umpires admit they are wrong and it has cost a team a game, isn't there something they can do?

I think Smasha has a point in his original post. It seems that whenever there is a lot of criticism of umpires performance against a particular club (any club), there is a tendency to overcompensate for the following couple of weeks. The inclusion of Richo and Stafford isn't likely to sing things our way either.

poor stafford. i can't believe he was reported for trying to avoid a player! why wasn't lenny hayes reported last week? i think the standard of umpiring is the worst it has ever been this year, and i think it's partly due to the players acting.

I don't think bad decisions against us this week will effect the final score. Sydneys hardness at the ball will be the deciding factor.

Dean3: Dermie just said exactly the same thing: must have read and agreed with your post ;D
