Fantastic season Shorty! Amazing effort to have to deal with such a big loss and remain focused on football with everything else going on too.
Topped it off with a Norm Smith Medal in any year Dustin Martin didn't play. Awesome stuff!

Excellent result and well deserved.

Also might be a nice little bonus to our salary cap for next year with many contracts having clauses in it for B & F results. With many of our big names finishing well back might help us retain or attract a key player going forward.

Very happy for Short, but for me Kamdyn making the top 5 and getting a medal is the story of the night. Couldn't be happier for him.

Quick scan of the table and it looks like Chol has the lowest return for avg JD votes per game.

4 of the top 9 being rookie sections is a testament to our player development and recruiting

Love the fact that apart from Dusty, the top 5 is filled by what you might (unfairly) describe as our second tier of players. This is such a good sign for the future. I’m particularly pleased for KMac who has been a revelation and become a very important part of our system.

I'm on record saying I don't like Best and Fairest votes being decided on how players perform their role. They should be for the elite. But I don't have a say, and playing your role is key to this side's success. So well done to Jayden, he had a terrific season, and it was a real heartfelt speech.
