you cant gild that lily I dont reckon: George, Danny and Jake performed a 2nd percentile pissweak defensive 50 performance.
and George was the worst of them.
we dont have anyone like George waiting to take his place (MRJ is clearly the nearest like-for-like in terms of pinball multiple pressure acts. but hes nothing alike).
But he may need a little rocket,

That was close to the worst kick I have ever seen in AFL footy. All I could do is laugh
Don't disagree though to be fair I think it's an incredibly taxing game style with the new rules* on the wider spaces of the MCG.
Teams are wearing us out. Is the high pressure game sustainable? Maybe but fresh soliders are required. We looked tired after being up the previous week.
Was pretty soon after Shai's mark of the year. Definitely in the mix for blooper of the year. We were all laughing so hard.
And it came after a few pretty ordinary performances. Needs a spell in the VFL to get some confidence back.

the thing is, other sides have to do it once a month at most,
we have to do it 4 times a month.
but thats why we recruited blokes with huge motors.
we just need them playing.
