I agree with this. He is certainly an enigma. He can turn the easiest of handballls into a disaster but then goes and does what he did yesterday kicking that goal from the boundary line. If he had better decision-making he'd possibly be the best small man in the comp. Needs to slow that brain down a bit when he gets hold of the ball.

Must be a nightmare to play on..... how could anyone think they know what he's gunna do... when he doesn't look like he knows himself!

assuming you mean small forward, and assuming small means sub 6 foot, and assuming Toby Greene and Michael Walters are mids,
I have George as the 2nd best small forward in the game, behind only Charlie Cameron.
If I wanted to go unconditional,
I'd say George is the 4th best small forward in the world.

Yes I meant small forward sorry, non-key. I don't have in my top 15-20 forwards purely because he wastes so many chances with poor disposal and decision-making. Thus my comment he could have been nbr 1 if he was better at that part of his game as he has some very unique features.
George does my head in with his wastefulness in front of the sticks but he is a very important component of our forward set up.
If he tidied up his play and converted alot better he'd be held in much higher regard across all facets of the AFL.

Butler, Lloyd, Towner, Ellis, all gone but Georgie still there. Manic attack and manic forward defence, Dusty, Sausage n Shai are there for the silk. Georgie just does the WTF lookout I'm being busy.

Castagna is experimental jazz. A lot of it made no sense and critics were divided but was ultimately considered an important period in the history of Jazz music. And let’s not forget that if he kicked a little straighter he would have torn the grand final to shreds on his own.
I'd pay $1000 to see George on vocals with The Necks.

But he is our enigma and still able to turn the game on its head with his unpredictability. He infuriates me at times then next moment love him. He is one of us!
Imagine the caning George would have got if he had played in the dark years. He would have made the whipping boy hall of fame.
