Welcome to Tigers: Jason Castagna

Yeh I think even willo is a fan now

I wouldn't say I'm exactly a fan MD. He can still be a momentum killer as he showed on the weekend a number of times. He still needs to hit a teammate with a handball instead of shooting them all over the place.
Still far from being JC or even a naughty boy. His flaws are still there too often. But I am pleased that he has shown improvement. He needed to

Did enough today, but can anyone explain to me what he was thinking with that set shot?* Absolute shocker. I thought those days were behind him.

*rhetorical question alert

Couldn't believe it, he was almost directly in front. Lynch showed how to kick for goal in the traditional way. Maybe he needs to give some lessons to others.

Other than that kick he was good but agreed, I have no idea what he was doing. Terrible decision to not just drop punt it through.

He should have kicked on his left, he hit up dusty with a nice left foot pass earlier in that qtr.

If George cant kick a drop punt goal from about 25 on a slight angle hes should be playing VFL

Umpire screwed him, he went to play on and kick it.
He was called back and went for the snap. He should've went with the drop punt.
But his pressure is so underestimated.
He makes so many defenders panic.
I reckon he contributed to about 5 goals directly from his pressure.

That lazy shot at goal was the lowlight of the game. It could have cost us the match.
Overall he's been good, I just hope he doesn't cost us a final with basic mistakes like that.

Had good pressure stats again and overall has contributed well. Rioli could take a leaf out of his book atm. Far superiorly skilled player but just going atm.

I wonder if he seeks out Emma Murray for her “mindfulness” about his kicking for goal. It looks to me he’s anxious when having a shot and just quickly wants to get it over and done with.

No difference to Ross and others missing. It wasn't that he used a round the corner kick, it was that he missed.

It was the decision to use the round the corner kick and his whole setup for it. Totally wrong, he seemed confused. Brain fade imo. Directly in front 20 metres out just drop kick it and take out the complexities. I reckon he just needs a team mate to go up to him and say take your time and line it up properly with a drop punt.
