Don't know anything about Daniel so looking forward to seeing him in action and showing why we picked him.

Leon Harris commenting on SEN said that he is an elusive forward in the mould of Jamie Elliot, but needs to work on his finishing.

A speedy 182cm \ 78kg small forward. Strengths are speed, agility and ability to break the lines.

Doesn't always finish well, good defensive pressure inside 50. Injured his knee in the last game so missed the draft combine.
Played for Vic Country, but was inconsistent at TAC Cup with Nth Ballarat Rebels.

5.6 tackles a game at Tac Cup, 16.7 disposals, although a bit below average in his disposal (56.7% DE). Gets more contested footy up forward than uncontested (9.0 and 7.4 possies respectively). Disposal efficiency was better for Vic Country (67.5%).

I liked this kid's reel too. His kicking wasn't ideal in the clip. But I really liked watching him. Like a scruffy Trent Nichols. He does look a natural footballer.

Butts can be extremely dangerous when he wants to be. Is very quick and agile; will be a dangerous small forward... sometimes he does silly things with the ball in hand- but that's youth. His skills will sharpen up with the one-on-one coaching he will get and the full-time footy environment. Good kid.

Gee he can break the lines well. Me thinks good upside to this kid... dare I say it "a little Matty White like"?

My wife accused me of watching porn when she heard the music that accompanies his highlight package: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFGVQACpeGw -- ill take her word for it :)

You're in good nick, Tooheys. :clap

Alfred for mine too.

Anyone see a resemblance to a young Nick Daffy? Kicks wobble about a bit, tends to run a bit diagonal and kick across his body?
