Welcome to the Tigers Taj Hotton

He and trainer will end up 2 wasted picks in a super draft hate to be negative. But for me we wasted 2 quality picks
I'm not sure why the club bothered getting expert opinions from people who have seen the scans etc when they could have just asked you.

Under my peer reviewed gun brother/dud brother theory (where if the older brother is a gun the younger is a dud and if the older brother is a dud the younger brother is a gun) I predict great things for Taj Hotton.

His older brother, ex Saint Ollie, is welcome to enjoy Taj’s ride at Richmond by playing with our VFL team.

Which Dow brother is the gun?

As I said in the draft thread, Petracca did the same thing and his was also in training. If you look at his career and didn't know beforehand, you would have no idea he ever had an ACL injury.

For me this was the biggest risk of the night.
Anyway, high risk hopefully high reward.
Gotta back the club in.

With 7 picks inside the top 30 in what is allegedly a SuperDraft, I think its more than fine to take 1 calculated risk. The probability is that a couple of them aren’t going to realise their potential… it’s all about us hedging our bets in this draft. If Hotton makes it, the upside is potentially huge.

His agility and movement is a key point of difference from the other mids. I can see why we took him when looking at the overall blend in rebuilding a midfield.
