Cannot highlight enough how huge Broady, Baker and Short were after Vlastuin got sniped.

The pressure of a Grand final and everyone steps into a role , with help from DTLD and Optimus and kills it.

They couldn't score after half time.

Broady was enormous.

Sidenote: leigh matthews, bruce Mcavaney, Brian taylor.... Why do we need to persist with these senile spuds? We deserve better than this.

Leigh saying he meant Short instead of Broad!
If Matthews made a mistake he should have kept his big mouth shut but decides to do what pundits do, make sensationalized revelations because it brings in self publicity.
Having red a few pundit comments it seems as though some missed the shear volume of running and protecting Nathan did once Nick was out of the game.

Absolutely this. Everybody not Richmond is focussing on Dusty's brilliance as the difference. Downplaying the way the backline regrouped. Only Richmond people will know what it was like to have to contemplate the game without Vlastuin and how magnificent Broad, Baker and Short were, plus Bacher on one leg etc al. The haters will try and talk this Premiership off as well. We might have to win it again next year to finally shut em up.

Dusty is a freak, that’s true, but it’s soldiers like Broad that make it possible for him to be brilliant. Dusty also recognises this, unlike Dangerflog, who thinks it’s all down to his own talent.

How does that look with a 4th number, the number of premierships in that 70 games.

I assume Broady has an imposing record there.
