Welcome to the Tigers - Daniel Rioli

He has been working his arse off all year and now he gets the glory. Well done, son.

If a flog comes up and slaps his misses on the ass.
Will the gutless prick just walk away?
Gill would handle it like a gentleman.
“You have disgraced my honour you swine”
Removes his white gloves and slaps the drunk across the face.
“I challenge you to a duel. Pistols at dawn!”

By his own admission he did very little until he kicked the sealer which was a great goal

.attitude & pace has improved...not sure he's actually doing enough
No way he's doing enough offensively. Just makes such poor disposal decisions. He needs to watch how Bakes played the position a couple of weeks back. Maybe he just doesn't have that inate ability to get into the right position. Some things you just can't learn, you either have it or you don't.

Great to see him kick the winning goal though. Hopefully it triggers some confidence.

He did truckloads defensively. Played his role. Come and sit at the top of L2, behind the goals, and spend a quarter watching him. It may change your mind.

Not according to the stats. Was only attributed with 25 pressure points which is well below his average. I'm ready to see what MJR can do. It's time.

And he's modest.

*smile* the stats. Watch Rioli.
I do watch Rioli. It matches with what the stats say in his defensive output. His defensive output wasn't great last night. You can ignore the stats to try and prove your own argument, it's just your opinion. Pressure acts provide a very good synopsis of defensive output. 25 is relatively poor. The whole forward line has been very inconsistent with their defensive pressure this year.

Maybe McLachan should start reading his own messaging.....

View attachment 12195

Yeah it was all over the tvs at the game too. The message was something like, "See inappropriate behaviour against women, Do Something".

So Dan and Shai follow this message and Gill is like "yes I said do something, walk way, ignore it and imagine it didn't happen".

How DV or womens charities haven't picked up on this is amazing. Even my 12 year old daughter was at dancing during the week, and the girls were calling Dan and Shai feminists because they stood up for women. This just shows that people do see the good in what they did, and dictator Gill needs to be held to account.

In 2017 prior to his injury in the GF Rioli was an offensive weapon in the forward line. (Not that he was offensive as a person ) I reckon since the injury the club knows his limitations body wise and plays him predominantly in defensive forward role and occasionally we see glimpses of his offensive work. Just my observation but I don't think his ankle allows him to do the stuff he used to do. Could be wrong though...

Fantastic result after a tough week to see him kick that goal.
Loved what Dimma said post game about Daniel bringing his own family closer together when he first moved in with them back in 2016 due to his culture of connection. The coach obviously has a lot of affection for Dan.

Odd comment with what has transpired.
