Worry for me in the first half was he was just unsighted, didn’t seem to be getting to any contests, hopefully now that the big stuff is starting Dan can find that Rioli magic
Heading in the right direction, even if he’s a long way short of his best form. I’m encouraged by his improved intensity when he gets his hands on the ball, which with such low disposals numbers. He was looking to make something happen again when compared to the slow DTLD style he was dishing up a few weeks back.
We need him to take it up a gear or two by finals. Will be looking for him to have an impact against the cats. We can’t have any passengers with top 4 still a chance.

Need a four quarter effort next week including forward half tackle pressure.
It looked like he was playing in defence at times. Did Dimma move him down there so he could run at the ball to try to get some form happening? He certainly played better in the last quarter.
Been observing him carefully.
Hate to say it, but he dislikes body contact.
Ducks his head in marking contests also and avoids being hit.

A Rioli has played in 6 of the last 7 premiership teams. Stays in.

What is telling is that he is the most "debated" of all incumbents. With two rounds to go we should be Clear about his form. If Edwards does not replace Rioli whoever he does should be asking a question or two.
Spot on mate. It's so frustrating. Every time he gets it on the wing or half forward he stands there for 10 seconds looking like he has no idea what do do with it. All the while Geelong players stream into our forward line and clog it up.
