So how the hell does any new draftee get to put on 8 kg of pork while supposedly doing a professional AFL pre season?
Was no one watching what he's been up to the last few months?
Does the kid just rock up in the morning, clock on n then bugger off to the local for a parma n pot for breakfast n lunch, then come back to the club n clock off while nobody was looking?

Here were my comments pre draft.

Kirby's beep was around the 11 mark in TAC testing, that pushes him to a late/rookie pick. To put that in perspective, Clem Smith ran something similar and has now been delisted.

No chance, Daniel has elite endurance and can run sub 3 second sprint. Stengle's best hope is becoming an impact forward in the Betts mould.
