Amazing effort Shorty! Just reward for a very consistent year. Another that has worked incredibly hard to get to where he is. And out of the rookie draft no less

What an amazing story.

Had the skills. But has overcome his limitations to become a bnf of a premiership side.

So happy for the guy.

I think it is fair to change your mind when a player improves. Or they go backwards-i thought Vickery was going to be a superstar after his fifth place finish when he was 20 odd.

People on here were criticising him this year (hell one poster even said he was "lucky" only 1-2 weeks ago to be in the side).

Congrats Shorty on your JD Medal. You have overcome some major hurdles just to play footy for the RFC. Your journey is just another example of how the culture of this place allows an individual not become the best expression of themselves. May your example of excellence continue. :clap2 :clap2:clap2

Well done Shorty. Been a knocker, but you've been brilliant this year. Still don't understand the B&F, but a lot smarter people vote than me. Congrats little champ.
