Welcome Judson Clarke

14 for mine, he reminds me of Aaron Fiora, hopefully with a happier ending.
14 for sure! Your post is on the 14th page of this thread and I haven't been more excited about a debut since Polo

Just on Polo its worth watching his debut highlights again. There's even a decent don't argue in there.

Polo Debut Highlights

I'll have to watch the replay for confirmation but the two bits of play that really impressed me were not actually his goals, i already knew how good a kick he is, (like what I think Prestia? said post match, when Juddy was having his shot he just went back to his starting position :) ).
Anyway the bits of play I am talking about was a clean pick up at full pace on the opposite flank from me over near the MCC members and a bit of play near the AFL members where he was out numbered but was paddling the ball around keeping it out of the opposition grasp and nearly escaped himself but i think ultimately halved the contest.
Running patterns are good to.

Yeah, both of those bits of play were super impressive.
Both of them, my immediate thought was “who was that?”, as he moves with a point of difference to our other players.

The second was just before 3Q time I think, and he nearly created a goal scoring opportunity out of sheer tenacity and touch.

Play the kid again but bring in a genuine small pressure forward in MRJ as JD you said Coburg provides a point of difference.

Has belief, wants to get better, improve and is being tutored by Lambert. Who better to learn from!

Amazes me how many morons keep thinking we win games from umpire decisions.
Yep the worst side for frees since we were good.

Yet people still stay Free Kick Richmond its hilarious.

Actually its not hilarious its bloody embarrassing.

Yep keep him in for a few and help him out with another small up forward next week, maybe Moju.

Was the difference, really.

3 tackles to go with his 2 goals. Was in our top three for defensive running. Sharp and composed.

First gamer, and an upgrade.

Doubt we would have won had we not made the change.
Maybe would also have won against the Swans if the change had been made last week

Loved his post game interview. Our recruiters really target guys with the right mental attributes. Had a clear thought process to calm himself down for his first kick at goal and seems to eat, breathe and lives footy. able to laugh at himself about not knowing dusty was kicking it to him for his second as well. Pretty impressive for that age on live tv.

Also modelling himself on Kane lambert and his professionalism and trying to learn all he can. Gotta love that.

Only downside was he was a hawk supporter.

What I noticed was he sort of looks like a left footed Shorty.
2-3 of his field kicks went 50 metres easily and quickly just like Shorty.
(Although Shorty certainly butchered some kicks, one which lead to a Power Failure Goal.)
Juddy looks a ripper.
Amazing some here already have him as an out for next week.
Must play. His field kicking is a delight.
As an aside does Juddy's Dad look like Scomo (It's not my job to do that!:))) or what?

Still only 18 doesn't turn 19 till 17th October.
He is listed as 180cm 72 kgs at draft time
I would be thinking he will be something like 182cm 80kgs by the start of the 2023 season and with a better endurance base

kid looks a player

Not again @turk-d-tiger you think every player that is drafted is going to grow which rarely occurs, one day you will be right though ;)

Just read Roar AFL online where they’re comparing Juddy to Ginnivan and Cody Weightman how they play for frees :mad:View attachment 15668
You can’t listen to posters on theRoar. Have no idea why, but their hatred of Richmond approaches pathological levels. It doesn’t even seem linked to our success, as many of them were like that pre 2017.
