Without google,

Was Paul Salmon an instant sensation?

Gibbo has the hallmarks of a champion.
Just checked and no as I thought it was his second season when he went berzerk. 63.36 in 13 games if you don't mind. The knee went in game 13.

Hes even tousling Lynchys hair,

And telling dylan grimes which option to take.

And how about the cotchy run out low five routine?

This kid is a freak in every respect.

They should celebrate his 250th next week i reckon

Looks like he has played 150 games.

Talls don’t do this. Whose the last bloke?

I can’t think of one.

Lever from memory. Which is a few years ago. Had a few injuries his first year too, coming off an ACL.

Weitering maybe?
Weitering holds scrags bumps his opponent trying to make it look clumsy so as to not get a free against Don’t believe Weitering is a great kick
As for Gibcus his reading of the play, ball in flight, and his kicking is amazing

How good!!

Still reckon he could translate his game forward. Definitely worth pursuing over the next couple of years.

He's a very intelligent aerialist. Watch how many times he gets his fist in to spoil.

I'm very pleased that I was wrong. I was disappointed at the draft that we didn't go with a midfielder with the 1st pick, but the recruiters were 100%, picked best available and wow how good is he. Going to be a pleasure to watch this guy for the next 10-15 years.
I'll put my hand up as well Poshy!

Potential to become the greatest ever AFL defender since Alex Rance

Aaron Naughton was a pretty good KPD from day one if I recall correctly.

Naughton was an elite contested mark from day 1. Pity for Dogs fans his kicking for goal is so woeful.

He is some sort of talent.
Playing like a veteran.
Those low-flying 50m lace out kicks to a target are works of sheer artistic beauty.
The one last night that Balta, running through CHB, did not need to break stride for was merely this week's offering that many players would struggle to do in a career.
Comparisons to Weitering as highly drafted key backs made some sense before R1 but not anymore.
Poor old Weiters doesn't get much elevation compared to the athletically-gifted Air Gibcus.
I reckon if you offered the Blues Gibcus in a swap they'd do it in a heartbeat.
Kinda pleased Gibcus isn't getting mentioned much in terms of Rising Star because that weekly gong would only just inflate an already healthy ego that doesn't really need more boosting.
Very excited.

Took over from Cotch giving the players low fives as they ran on the field.

Can't remember too many key position, first year players come in and do what Jibcus is doing, gosh it's good to watch.
