This thread has been a long time coming, so we may as well formalise it.

I’ll begin.

Mansell. Cumberland may or may not have made a difference, but given our poor forward entries I’m confident Juddy’s disposal and nous would have made the difference tonight.

Imagine George coming on as the medical sub. Carlton players would have got dizzy trying to follow where he was going.
George would be still running flat out an hour after the game finished

Whoever put this post up and the snipers having a go at our players and coaches in round 1 !! Hang your heads in shame!!

Par for the course.
No-ones sniping, we allowed to critique performance.

Selection is debated each week, before and after games. Why not catalogue it in one place? It doesn't have to be disrespectful. In this instance, I argue that Judson Clarke would have given our I50 advantage more power than a defensive forward in Mansell (1 tackle). Do you agree or disagree, or have an alternative selection option?

Our forward line applied decent pressure. We know that little of that comes from Dusty, Jack or Lynchy. So be careful if you tip the scales too far and remove one of the others. Unless you know the guy coming in can apply pressure.

Have to agree. Cumberland should have played.

Ross looked slow when he came on. He did a few good things but not what you need from a sub.

Mansell not sure what he is adding to the team.

Funnily enough Cumberland would be a dynamic sub, but I suppose it needs to be someone more a Utility

Considering we didn't lose you can't really say we lost it at the selection table.
