Swing him forward and takes a contested mark and goal. Funny that. Keep the man forward!!!
He was outmarked a minute earlier though when he had position. I like him back but it's handy that he can go forward. He's not a key forward at AFL level and behind Cumbo as a third target.
I thought he'd blown 1 of our last chances at goal though just before that with a horrible attempt at a contested mark at the edge of 50.
Whilst it was a contested mark to win it, we had a 2 on 1 at the top of the square where he could jump unimpeded. He finished well, but it was a good position to be in. Not great defence from the Giants in that last play.
Yep! Miller looks scared to even line up for a set shot, yet looked so composed down back in the last. Swap them, Bauer forward and Miller back. Has to happen
If heād have been playing up forward all season Iād have said yep but itās hard with him having played back the last two months. Heās a bit lighter than jack but essentially the same height. Same size as Gunston too. Iāve seen people say heās undersized but thereās no reason he canāt be a second or third marking option up forward. Has sticky mitts as we saw with that mark late. The AFL world is lauding JVR at the minute but Bauer had very similar stats to him in the VFL last year and kicked 6 goals in his first two games this year. Itās a shame weāve thrown him down back I really do think he couldāve impacted as a forward at AFL levelā¦ Not too late!
Whatās wrong with people? Kid is coming off a low base plus the added fact he missed football with a broken hand.
The quicker people realise you donāt pick up a Riewoldt or Lynch in the preseason draft the better.

You beauty, was frustrating seeing the boys get so much of the ball but waste it in front of goals. Rewarded at the end with a superb mark and goal after the siren by Bauer to win the game
