VFL Rd 15 versus North Melbourne

Who said we don't have depth. This is unbelievable. The first's are a game clear on top and the reserves on top too.
This is 1980 again.

Does that sound like KMac to you?

I'm really proud of this VFL team. Two great wins against other AFL clubs' VFL sides with probably our most depleted sides for quite a while. They are tough, strong, ferocious and classy.

There's no coincidence of our rise to premiership status, contender and winner, has been supported by the forming and building of a strong VFL team. It is a great fillip.

What a performance.

No coincidence the past three years since we have gone alone the direct corelation of our VFL to AFL sides performances.

Thanks for all your updates.

How did our AFL listed boys go ?

Were at the game Stengle one of the best small forward rotating in midfield games I have seen, i left with 5 minutes to go and he had 6.1 and set up at least 4 others.
Development coach Ryan Ferguson gave Ben Miller a massive wrap at 3/4 time, (not before i beat him to it though and got the thumbs up from Ben). At 3/4 time he was in the defensive huddle when Fergo gave singled him out with praise and then said go on get out of here and go have a go up forward for the last quarter.
Too many good to review and I have to go out to hopefully view a Tiger's win tonight.

If there was a relegation format there would be 2 Tiger's AFL sides and 2 Carlton reserves sides.

I would have played Stengle in the firsts this weekend. He has been consistent all year, yet doesn't get the fanfare others enjoy.

I only listened to the game, good to hear that Big Ben get some wraps from the coaching staff. Menadue seemed to get a bit of the ball, how did you find his and Balta's game?

Balta was quite good but very happy our other big draftee, (Miller), had his best game of the year and showed something and Naishy has had 2 good weeks in a row.

FYI: The VFL Peter Jackson VFL website listed our best in the following order:

1) Stengle
2) Lloyd
3) Menadue
4) Brandon Wood, (VFL listed player)
5) Naish
6) Miller
