Baker was sensational today. May lack a yard in pace but knows how to get the footy.
Bolton was very good - tries to do too much at times and cannot do that at AFL level
Menadue and McIntosh both serviceable
Great last quarter kicking against a strong breeze
Garthwaite unfortuneley hurt his anke and didnt play second half.
Morris was a late out which made Miles, Townsend, Soldo, C Ellis, C Moore and Aaarts out from last week and VFL listed players in which makes the win a really good one.
Strong spirit amongst the group and well coached.
As mentioned many times before on this post. Balta is going to be some sort of player

dont think youde play higlet and baker together right now. and no way would you drop higlet

Bolton did more than enough today to come in if Butler out. Voted 3rd best on VFL website, (that is now 5 weeks of good footy from Shai).
Baker voted best but agree with Easy and the Higgins comparison and would only play one of them in the same side.

I think Bolton was the pick if you want to replace Butler. I still worry about his work rate, he looks laconic at the best of times, but every time he got it something happened. If you were judging on AFL attributes he looked a class above.
Menadue was busy too, not as clean but he worked hard.
Balta was also really impressive, but I just don’t know where to put him. He racks up possessions all over the ground, he would be an awesome second ruck, but that’s not what we need.
So for me it’s Flossy, Houli and Shai next week.
