Men against boys, similar to last year. Essendon have brought the aggression and a lot of our blokes have rolled over or got sucked in.
Umpiring hasn't been a factor, they just need to pay more frees.

We are slow, reactive, missing targets by hand & foot plus I’m struggling to understand the umpiring.
Could be straights sets again unless a huge turnaround happens in the second half.

Apart from that I just don't understand how we finished on top with what I have seen today. Pathetic.
Townsend’s elite aggression meant he got reported for a legal tackle.

Ross and Nanks have been good. Agree with the rest. Will be flabbergasted if Moore and Miller make it. Aarts being shown out and Butler is finished. Flappers, I really don't get why we rushed into a 2 year contract. Should have waited till end of season and offered 1.

English really up against it. RCD trying but cant break free.
They need to keep Pickett, Townsend and Ross in the guts run Menadue and Butler in there occasionally and hide English.
In the next game they need to get hardened bodies like Ballard and Silvestro in. Also Beasley should play back. Miller might need a rest.
Its a question of development against trying to win.

Callum Jones did the punch which cost us a goal. Townsend got done for rough conduct and didn't cost us a goal
Will surely be thrown out unless his head hit the ground. No different to Robinson/Houli and one other tackle in the R23 senior game.
Umps need to pay some obvious frees/50's and get control back before it deteriorates. They're facilitating the niggle.
