Trent Cotchin (Merged)

Yeah right.
The best captain in the comp, 3 time premiership winning captain, stood down
Bullshiit
But Heppell, Selsook & Zorko are still Captains.
Give me break mamn

Haha but you did say whoever decided for Cotch not to be captain was a knucklehead. The fact it was Cotch's decision means that you think he's a knucklehead right??

Trent's misconduct charge was dismissed after he challenged it at the MRP.

I still haven't seen any footage of this supposed rough conduct, does it exist? Considering how quickly the MRP backed off I'd guess not, so why was he cited at all?

Now we should send them the footage of Zorko slapping Cotchin from behind and challenge the lack of rough conduct charge against that little sniping prick! Yes, I know that's not a thing, but still...

Considering that nothing ever seemed to have actually happened no wonder it was thrown out. I’m positive they made a mistake reporting it in the first place, but because they will never admit they got anything wrong, and anyone who doesn’t follow Richmond thinks Cotchin is a sniper, this is how they get around it.

So. Cotch’s name came up the the mrp lucky dip on which Tiger to fine this week. We/he said where’s the evidence/proof that he did anything wrong. MRP - umm, oh. We weren’t expecting that. Case dismissed

What a joke this lot are. As you said, 'lucky dip'. Revenue raising at it's best by these greedy pricks.

Trent is a burst or phase player, these days.
A specialist, an expert.
Four or five passages of play in the Lions game, where he created goals out of adversity.
One where he kept the ball live on the outer wing boundary, shrugged the tackle, resulting in a new forward entry and goal.
Must play on, no pun intended, next year.

No problem for the AFL realising that Cotchin had no case to answer as they always have Marlion to fall back on for their holiday fund contribution

They probably just doubled Picketts fine to cover the loss.

The ball was safe in Cotchy's hands to deliver Tommy. That is a classy way to end the game.

Many have said that he deserves another year. I say that he has very much earned another year based on his performances in 2022.

i reckon there is a fair chance Cotch hit Zorko in the previous contest- not saying it was reportable but that he laid a good bit of contact- He is very good at laying a boney bump i reckon. and that led to Zorko's little tap the the tummy.
