When he gets the ball now he accelerates out of congestion. Great player

Chance for the brownlow with Dusty out of form?

Maybe they have worked out between themselves how to both play so one gets all the votes for a year. Next year a dusty year again. Aiming for two dual brownlow medalists.

$23 ridiculous price for the Champ!!
Put $30 on him & 67s at start of year. (Don’t think he’ll get it but he’s ‘quietly’ building a good season.

Another fabulous game by our captain!

Should get a nomination on The Front Bar this week for Sam's Point of the Week!

Is this year better then 2012? He is currently 3rd in the coaches award, 5th on the Sunday footy show,
Can't believe how good he has become ever since adding that aggression to his game style.
He is a "hurt' tackler, the kicking forward has become A1 and his overalll leadership quality has gone through the roof.

He is playing great footy Zips, but I do reckon his 2012 season doesn't get the kudos it deserves because of the whole retrospective Brownlow. That 2012 season was sensational, but I'm just as happy with his current form. :) :)

I thought his 2017 was better than his 2012, but it was eclipsed by the brilliance of Dusty.

Playing a totally different game to 2012 but they are both brilliant in their own way.. god hes good. I think because of Dusty’s year last year people forget how good the skipper really is.

I'd also add that it took a while to really identify just how good it was last year. It's not borne out by stats, it's borne out by wins. And Premierships. It's easy to see now we understand it, but for me I don't think it was initially obvious just how much influence he was having on games and the team last year.
