Nah - it’s normal that most premiers are slow starters the following year.
Plenty of time yet. What i want to see at the moment is giving more of our fringe players a run.
What did today's session entail, mate? Did they go hard in terms of running, or no?Training today:
They didn't split into possibles and probables today so no real indication of which way the match committee will go, the important thing that all were present and accounted for so all options should be available.
**A scratch match will be held at PRO 11am Saturday.
Caesar - do you think dow or rcd will come in this week ? thanks

Thanks Caesar. It would be good to see Dow play this week.Dimma said in his presser there would be 3 or 4 changes and wants to reward those playing well at the lower level.
Obviously Dusty and Baker come in.
After that I have:
1) Dow has been outstanding in two scratch matches in a row.
2) Kmac more a case of maybe the need for someone that runs both ways.
3) Line ball between RIley and Noah, both have had one really good Scratch Match, I think the match committee would want to see another similar performance from Riley in Saturday's scratch match for him to be right in the frame for subsequent weeks?
Sorry as i know it's probably been mentioned somewhere already. But was it a normal training session or are they now split up into separate groups due to what happened with Mckenna ?
Below are the rules for at least the next 4 weeks:
THE AFL has moved to ban contact training at full group sessions for at least the next four weeks as the fallout to Conor McKenna's positive COVID-19 test continues.
It means full-scale match simulations at training will cease, however tacking will still be permitted in sessions with groups of up to nine players.
Clubs will be allowed to train with their full group once a week but only on no-contact skills, ball movement and tactic drills.

Haven't seen much of Dow but can he play that small forward role for us? Would seem a logical place for a 1st year player to come in and run through stints at times on ball. With Baker and potentially Dow coming in, if I was Rioli I would be very nervous after the last couple of weeks.
Dow and Two-Mums? Wow.Big rumour 2 debutants will be selected tonight
I hope so zips, we need a bit of hybrid vigour.Big rumour 2 debutants will be selected tonight

If we were to debut 2, who is most likely?
Dow plus 1 other. RCD? Turner? Ralph-Smith?
