Training For Redemption in 2022

Bauer is looking good, fitting in well and skills pretty decent from what I have seen so far.
Thanks caesar. I like his selection in the midseason draft, I'm hopeful that Jacob can make it as a 3rd tall, he would fill a real need.

Main Training Today Monday :

Tom Lynch completed all facets of training and will line up.
Lambert completed 90 minutes so pretty sure he will get a starting gig?
Dusty not there but believe will play.
Balta trained 100% forward, Gibcus 100% back as did Tarrant, (all appeared to be in the A team squad?).
Hugo trained as if he was still in the MC's forward thinking?

**Shedda is a doubt for me, straight to rehab after the warm-up and no drills.

One of there sharpest sessions this season and plenty of voice.

Cheers Casear.

I wouldn't write the Dees off. Flags are bloody hard to win & all teams will have up & down periods.
They've already put themselves in the position to win another one but much of it will come down to who's traveling best at the pointy end of the year.

Yeah, I think we,ll look back on this as their mid season slump.

I'm writing them off.
I thought they won it in a very average field last year and I was Very confident there wouldn't be a back 2 back or Dynasty.
Footscary 2016 part 2. They will full back into the pack and then disappear

yep, dee's are dead and buried. Can not run out games.
We are at the stage when the good teams start to slowly ramp it up.
Melbourne are sliding down the ramp on their arse.

They aren't gazelles like they were late last year and early this year.
Very ordinary at the moment

Caesar did you report that Dusty didn’t train Saturday or Monday?
If that’s the case and Dimma is reporting on Monday night that Dusty is unlikely to play then I smell a rat.
Very early call to be writing him off if it’s a flu.
The other thing is I’m also stunned that most players wouldn’t be vaccinated for the flu. No club wants players to miss matches that can be preventable.

The flu vaccination does not guarantee you wont get the flu, and if he has been hit badly since Saturday, and is still pretty unwell Monday, i reckon calling h8im doubtful is fair enough.

I believe it dramatically reduces both ability to catch it and associated symptoms

depends what strain, if its the same strain as the vaccine then you wont get it or get it extremely mildly, if its a different strain (which can happen), then the vaccine does nothing

The vaccine covers the 4 main strains bought in from overseas but correct you could catch a different strain altogether.
You would still assume that players would get vaccinated as a conservative preventative measure

I had the flu vaccine in early April and had a severe bout of flu last week. started getting heavy symptoms Friday week ago and didn’t get over it until weekend just gone. Even then, I’m still carrying symptoms today but did return to work this morning.
It was a pretty heavy duty infection and if Dusty has similar, he’ll miss Thursday’s game imo.

likewise, i was got my shot about a month ago. i have spent the last 2 weeks not real well, and would only now be close to being able to play sport.

Like the WB they managed to snag a flag with a very vanilla forward line starring BB and Tom McDonald . Doesn’t quite have the ring to it of triple Coleman jack, lynch and Martin . Pertracca form is nowhere near last years. The flag is wide open
