Training For Redemption in 2022

Main Training Today Thursday :

I am hoping the adage "You Play Like You Train", doesn't ring true as that was about the sloppiest I have seen this season.

As mentioned above both Prestia and Vlaustin have not been seen this week, the mystery is Tigga.

Pickett participated in most of the session so I hope he has passed his fitness requirements.

Lambert good to go.

Cotch did what he had to do, manages himself a bit these days.

Dusty, not the sparkling Dusty that I am use to seeing burning up the track and skills that take him to another level but as Dimma said even a 50% Dusty will be a pretty good player. Did mid and forward drills.

Gibcus, managed on Tuesday, a bit off on his usual standout work today and ended his session early, just looking after his young body you'd think.

They had Mansell tagging Shai again but without the fisticuffs today ;)

Shorty again training with mids.
Where was Balta training caesar?

Any thoughts on Tarrant coming back in?

Prestia is our barometer, hope he gets up. In a game like this, he could be the difference between a win and a loss.

Balta trained back in the match simulation
Didn‘t notice Tarrant in the 1sts but was out there in other drills
Pickett, Stack and Rioli jnr all in the 2nds squad
Cotch and Dusty both in the 1sts group
My mail is Prestia is playing. Not sure about Flossy
Stack looked good from what I could see from the footpath along Punt Rd

Backline, as for Tarrrant i think Dimma said it all in his presser, Collingwood generally play a shorter mobile forward line.

2nd day at home ill, lower leg issue, reading between the lines from Dimma. I dont think the band is fully back.. not yet.

Sounds like:
Cotch and Dusty for Prestia and Stack (even with the positive praise on Stack). Tarrant misses out due to the pies small forward line.

Pies have 4 ill too and some may also miss come Saturday too.

Awesome news. He moving ok?
They are giving Dion some sort of fitness test on far side of ground, individual running watched by 2 fitness staff so may need to clear some final requirements?
He is in conversation with them now.

So Dion did some individual running, not a lot and then was in deep discussion with Burge and Dimma leaving me none the wiser.

This reporting is all well and good but we really need a live stream. Can you strap a GoPro to your head?

Yep, we really need to ramp this up. Manually typing training updates is so April 2022.
