Training For 2023

No just sick of an overhype when majority of pre season he’s played on below average players. If he was playing on the best of the best and having a break out pre season fair call but not once has he
Yeah, nah. I'm a bit skeptical of why you're taking a consistent whack at Dusty.

Anyone can debate whether Dusty or say Houli should have won the Norm Smith in 2017. Similarly in 2019 and 2020. Whether he should have won one, two or three clearly shows he was amongst the best on the ground in each GF. Clearly a big game player. I have no issue with him winning all three, but sure, people can have different views.

My view is he's a bona fide superstar. Had 2 hard years for health and personal reasons and now apparently back to full fitness and motivation.

I love the bloke and I know that most on here do too. As for beating "below average players" I'm guided by our intrepid track watcher @caesar . If he says Dusty's going good, well that's plenty good enough for me. :)

Cannot overrate a player who has not only won 3 Normies but also 3 Gary Ayres medals, this makes him the greatest player of the modern era, after all this game is about performing in finals, it also puts winning multiple Brownlows in some perspective.

Given Dusty is at the top of the tree for ability
and that the really top line players rarely play on each other
and when one of the top line players eg Dangerfield plays on him Dusty shakes them off

Then I would suggest that Dusty spends most of his game time playing on below average players

Fully super agree Bully the 3 finals Brownlows are never ever mentioned by even our own and it illustrates his greatness .

Who has he played on in this pre season? And how would it be Dusty’s “breakout pre season”?

Going to be interesting who gets the most Brownlow votes between Dusty and Taranto
I hope its Dusty.

If Dusty is getting the most Brownlow votes, then it's going to be a big year for the RFC, as when Dusty gets attention he is usually genuinely dominating and that means it's good times' for' the Tigers.

Dusty identifies match ups either across half forward deep forward or in the centre he likes the look of and moves himself there as he pleases to a degree.

Dimma has said he has free reign to a degree and if he sees something he likes and thinks he can dominate said opponent in that area time frame he inserts himself.

Something along those lines anyway.

Weve seen the Tiger King doimnate all levels of opposition across the board including the A grade elite.

Taranto is a very good player. Could become a great player.
But he’s no Dustin Martin.
There’s only one of those

Another thing i would also like to point out is that Dusty has actually pissed on Dangerfields career and how he will be remembered
there was a time prior to 2017 that Danger was on his way to be considered 1 of the greats but his encounters with Dusty and how easily Dusty disposed of him in multiple games has diminished that view

Mostly fair.

But if anyone thinks Dusty wasn't the best player on the ground in the 2020 GF, then any other statement they make about football is null and void.

Sorry to put this here guys, just bought a home game general admission membership - question is for blockbuster like round 1, do I just turn up and guaranteed entry? Thanks

GA only exists if not enough tickets are sold pre game Tigersmk.

So for a big game there may be very little GA that fills up quickly or none at all if it is sold out.

Best to upgrade to a reserved seat for round 1

10am - MCC members go on-sale
12pm Club Members go on-sale
2pm - AFL Members
And unfortunately for a big game like this, Wednesday 12pm General Public.

So like Caesar said, update your seat for the Carltoon game, $30 I believe if you've got a general admission membership :)

And have a website open to buy other big games if you want to go to like Collingwood - tickets for Round 3, and any other games off importance you want to go to below.
Pies game we're the away team so that will be hard to get into unless you update to a seat.
Rounds 1-15 all go on-sale tomorrow, depending on areas' of the ground, some are delayed until closer to the date.

Round 4 Dogs at home should be good enough general admission.
Round 5 Gather Round me Round
Round 6 away v Melb for Anzac Eve will need a seat.
Round 7 Suns at the G should be right mate, backstroke into that one
Round 8 WCE at the G you should be alright, just moonwalk into that game :mhihi
Round 9 the Cats, you'll need to book a seat
Round 10 Dreamtime as the away team, need a seat.
Round 11 v Port at the G, should be fine
Round 14 - v Saints at the G should be okay with general admin.
ROund 15 bye and then we wait for the dates for the last 8 rounds :)
