Current draft picks 18, 36, 37, 70, 72, 90.
free agency. We were into crouch, now that we have found Ross & Pickett I think that option has been torched.
Players leaving. Ellis to GC. Compensation pick in return. Maybe pick 19.
Delisting. Moore, Menadue,
Trades. Bulter, McIntosh Markov
Retirees. Sir Grigg & Weller

I will be shocked if our priorities are not another midfield ball winner and a tall back.

Menadue might want more opportunities especially given another one has gone past him. Can he push past Pickett, Stack, Ross, Graham? Egg, Naish and RCD also coming on, let alone whoever he draft or trade in.

Hell - one from left field. Is the deal to GC actually final for Brando?? After the feelings of another Premiership will he forgo the extra cash to stay with the Tigers and go for that feeling again?? I dunno. Thoughts? It's not like 3 to 4 hundred thousand is a poor deal.

Menadue will want Senior games...we can't give them to him. I think we have a few that have gone past him now.

So a trade mutually agreeable should happen.

We do need another KPD, I like Garth, but his disposal is questionable...

I think we will offer him a contract but wont hold him back if a club wants to trade for him.

Yes agree with this position. Menadue did show some really good form at VFL level. He is very close to finally becoming an AFL player, but I think it has to be on the wing using his speed. He's a player who loves to break the lines, run forward and attack, convert into goals. So he might be able to step up to compete for Brando's role, think he shows the endurance now too.
And Brando will almost definitely leave; GC offer on $150/200k more than RFC will offer is just too good for him to refuse. Poor guy takes financial responsibility for his parents who are battlers.

Menadue is not a chance of being delisted. Butler will be in the same category as will Markov I suspect. All 3 could be traded.

I think Towner is gone.

Miller also could be on thin ice as he hasn’t shown a lot but we may keep him as a rookie.

Not sure if Aarts’ contract status but personally I can’t see him making it.

The issue with Garth isn't necessarily his disposal (similar to Astbury IMO). Its that he's too short to take the big power forwards (unlike Astbury) and he's too slow / athletic for the smaller talls.

Agree on all that. I reckon we give Miller at least another year, he's quick and athletic. Need to find out if his ability etc matches it.

He gets so little of the ball Mr P. That’s my concern with him.

Yep understand but I guess my thinking is, he doesn't really need the ball, he just needs to figure out how to stop his opponent getting it. I don't think he'll be anything more than a stopper, but if he can stop the opposition talls scoring then he's probably done his job.
