Toby Greene

strange how his old man produces this after all the Toby news the past month .. when it rains ...

Toby is a talented player, but he’s undisciplined and selfish with cement for brains. Will unfortunately never realise his full potential.

I've heard his dad is nice enough when he's sober, but when on the turps which is quite often, he's a real piece of work. Apparently was a talented footballer and played for Richmond ressies in the 70s, but his booze issues held him back.

I've also heard some pretty awful stories about the treatment Toby received from him when he was young. Not making excuses as Toby's an adult and he knows right from wrong, but he had a pretty f'ed up upbringing.

He needs to go back to letting his footy do the talking. Their 3 finals before Saturday were all around playing the man, they tried that with us and we just brushed it off and went hard at the ball. We didn't get sucked in like the Dogs, Brisbane and Collingwood before us. I'm not sure why Greene and the Giants needed to do this, very strange, they are so talented but playing as complete plastic tough guys.

**** me, Toby's the sane one. who'd a thought it?

And it's such a shame really, because his mother sounds like a really decent person.
His father seems to be battling a number of demons, including substance dependence.
No wonder Toby loses his way at times.

Bingo Poshy.
There's a difference between playing hard uncompromising football n playing Tupperware tough n just rat packing the opposition players.
GeeWhizz have been the talented privileged team since it's inception who have been derided for playing pretty football, especially at finals time. Without that hint of pit bull needed to be successful. They've tried to manufacture that side to their game, but it's not natural n it comes across as more dirty smelly tip rat than ferocious beast.
Toby's head and shoulders above all comers when it comes to the cheap tip rat efforts n he'll always have a massive asterisks against his career achievements until he learns there's boundaries.

I don't know if someone else has called it - BUT - I have it from a VERY GOOD SOURCE - that TG is off to Melbourne Demons next year.

............ watch this space.

Makes sense. Toby strikes me as the type of bloke that hates preseason training camps.
