Tigers v Hawks game day

just to be a sook, it annoys me that 4 out of our first 5 games are on Thursday (counting R1). I’ve never been a fan of Thursday night footy. I know its somewhat different coz I can’t go, but I can’t get on the sauce hard either. I hope the club is in the ear of the AFL about this in the next block of games.

Agree. Whether we win or lose, I hate having to work the day after the game.
 
Stack to replace Bakes down back, with Ross in the guts replacing Dusty. Caddy to play forward and give Sicily a good smacking.

I'm going to have plenty of sauce tonight...................... on my pie, i'm not working tomorrow:cool:

Yeah I was thinking what we do with Caddy.

Does he go back on the wing which he did so well during the back half of the year or is he the Dusty replacement up forward?

For me he starts on a wing.

Yes it's an interesting one, we don't want Sicily and Big Boy doing what Moore and Howe did last week. If I was Caddy, I'd be telling Dimma, I've got itchy knuckles I want Sicily.

Oh great.... Razor is umpiring and without an adoring crowd to show his "look at me" attitude I cant wait to see what he does for a TV audience.

Oh no!! Not the Tiger hating razor!! watch and see how many frees the Dawks get in the forward 50, and how many throws they are allowed to get away with.

Hope I'm wrong, but past history does not favour his umpiring us.
 
Not fussed on Thurs nights, just hope its an improvement on the previous week.

Looks like it's clouding over so should keep the dew away. Forecast 12 degrees for duration of game so probably not cold enough for dew.

I expect the Hawks to come out hard after their showing last week, but we'll take what they throw at us and then step up a gear and run over the top.

Was it last year when we played Hawthorn and got 1 free kick in the first half - they had to even it up a bit after half time as I recall.
