Race 6 - The fav looks very short here. Life Lessons is an underrated mare with form around Amelia's Jewel. Great e/w play.

Race 9 - Our old mate Star Patrol just wins. Too good for these.

Race 10 - Tamerlane should be able to cross and lead pretty easily here. If it does will take a power of beating. great bet.

Rosehill:

Race 4 - The price has been snipped but Stanislaus is still a bet here. Godolphin Lloyd 52 kgs tick!

In the Turnbull unless Romantic Warrior loses a leg in transit it wins. might be getting out to a backable price as well.

Ha!

Yes you definitely have to respect the stable mate.

Doesn't quite have the exposed form of them, but he perfectly fits the profile they've had success with previously. Lightly raced, progressive, no weight.

All like Il Paradiso, Twilight Payment, Almandin and especially Rekindling etc.

You're also getting the price to find out.

One thing be very wary of, he's not 100% in the field yet. Currently 19th in order so first emergency as it stands.

With a good chance either Carini or Brayden Star wins the Herbert Power on Sat and also leap frogs him.

So will likely need two to not final accept. Probably happens (Gold Trip might be one) but not guaranteed.

I‘ve identified one false favourite already - Yellow Brick in the Silver Eagle.

Nice horse for sure, but it’s reputation far exceeds it’s results so far.

One of Leysy's nags Shalook returns from a spell today in Race 6 at Kembla Grange. First up against a pretty string field isnt expected to win (currently 30/1). She has trialled well though so hopefully competitive then we'll drop her back in grade.

Been good to us (trainer bought her for $30K and she won $75K in her first campaign with us). Hopefully this one is as profitable.

Got a multi going Mr Brightside & Amelia’s Jewel into a nag Boof Lehmann tipped me at Mt. Gambier of all places yesterday which won. (Sweet name drop eh?!?!)

Very keen on Militarize but hoping for better odds.

She went enormous Mopsy. Trainer rapt with the run.

She'll drop back in grade to a class 3 at her home track in Albury on Cox Plate day.

Be very hard to beat you'd expect.

Early e/w bet for me, like the value of Red Sun Sensation in the first at Caulfield. Was first-up in the Testa Rossa when Buffalo River ran them off their legs. Got out the back then came wide and covered more distance than the rest but finished well at the unsuitably short 1400. Back in grade, up in trip, placed both times second-up. Bit of rain won't hurt. I'm on at $15/$4.

Steparty gets the gun run in the Guineas. Militarize will have to be as good as some think to beat him. Back Steparty, have an Exacta the other way.
