Thoroughbred racing

Also Leysy has bought a small % into another nag. Hopefully can kick off the same as Shalook did. Also with same trainer Mitch Beer who is simply sensational with the effort he puts into training/placing them and also communication. Funny *smile* on Twitter as well.

Horse is a 3 y.o gelding named Brave Image and runs in race 2 at Wagga tomorrow.

Was with Mick Price and ran 3 x seconds Pakenham and Cranbourne. That form should be good enough win a few races minimum and recoup costs.

Being aimed at the time honoured Albury Guineas in March, and better over a bit further but will be hard to hold out tomorrow. Currently $2.90 fav.

The funny thing was I have a good mate involved in the industry and he managed to get me reinstated with the TAB (no mean feat!), anyway I lasted 3 weeks before being banned again. They wouldn't tell me why just used the "we can do what we want" line. My mate told me I was using their promotions too much. Then why do they offer them if you are not supposed to use them.

I keep a running tally and have won the last 4 years, somewhere between $500 and $2,500 (my 2022 result). No sign of Sportsbet banning me but if they did I would be out of options and restricted quite a bit. (and very annoyed).

Each way tip for Sandown Saturday, race 9 no 10 All About Eve, opened $9.50 which was too good to resist (for my $5 each way).

Good punting all

T44
Goes alright that horse

Might have to aim a little lower

Ffs. Having a punt tonight at MV and have had 4 bets on 4 different races with longer odds horses. Each one of them has finished *** second.

What could be a massive night is a *** frustrating one.

Kah has won 3 from 5.

I can't work these ******* stewards out. Anamoe gets hip and shouldered in the 2021 cox plate, stewards say nothing to see. Today in the Orr Stakes, Gentleman Roy gives Jacquinot a bump, which wasn't as bad as what Anamoe received from State Of Rest and the protest is upheld. Good to see the stewards are consistent......not.

Zahra couldn’t steer a lawnmower.

Go the Jacq !!!

And she had a Pounding at Sandown today!!

I was on Anamoe and Jacq so one from two. Anome was very unlucky. Google Perth stewards and youll see a couple of dead set shocking decisions.

Putting this here as it will be better recognised to RIP thread.

Vale Deane Lester. The greatest form analyst Leysy has seen.

And seemed just an all great guy who touched everyone he came across as seen by $294K raised when his latest health issues became known by people in the industry. In no time.

Had serious health issues through his life and like many cancer ended up getting him.

54 years old. Too young.

RIP Deane. Friday mornings with the Friday form for the weekend won't be the same.

Phew. Big day at the worlds greatest race course. Copped a beating before Coolangatta got me a motza then Scallopini in the next. Good day in the end.

Fear the great Stripper might be on the way out. Will wait for a soft or heavy track before pronouncing the end, but todays last 200 was very un-Stripper like.

An All Up would've been good, an All Up on Jamie Kah wouldn't be bad either..........................she rode a double.

We saw one of the great performances on a racetrack today and the horse didn’t even win.

I Wish I Win broke 11 seconds for each of the final 4 x 200m splits of the Lightning Stakes. Ran his last 800m in 42.24, 400m in 21.17 and 200m in 10.91. That is incredible; unheard of.

He is some horse this one. That is the best performance you’d ever see without winning. Credit to Coolangatta, she’s a 1000m specialist and deserved the win. But you just don’t see what the second horse did. They won’t see what way he went in the Newmarket. Moody could set him for any race he wants, up to 1400m, and he will win it. He’s a gelding so stud value is not an issue. They will just chase the dough. All the rich sprints are at his mercy. Newmarket, TJ Smith, Everest, Champions Sprint etc. Made all the more incredible by the fact he is by Savabeel who throws middle distance horse. Very good sire.

The only horse that may give him trouble is Private Eye when he is fresh. Looking forward to them meeting.
