Thoroughbred racing

Great day at Flemington today. Just got there on the line but she has a strong will to win and is super honest. Short price but very happy with the result. Gave some $ to a poor soul on Victoria Street on my way home. Hope a few followed my last race tip?

Now for the tigers to finish off a top weekend, please!

wish id remembered it. would have had a crack with the mitful of bookies dough for prime candidate.

can't be greedy though.

Noones ever gone broke winning money, but plenty have come unstuck wishing they had more.

Easy

Your lass from Tassie should be going around in the Gp2 on Saturday.

She's leysys, but im definitely aboard.

they clipped off the $2.50 pronto. into $1.8

Ill still be having all the prime candidate winnings on her. The stake too.

I think the punters will shy away from odds on first up In a decent field.

I reckon we'll get evens.

my spring starts Saturday

Another one for Scott Brunton, The Enevitable, go you good thing!!!!
A mate from work's father is a part owner. They went over as usual and may have just slightly over inbibed after the mighty win. Staggering back to their Docklands apartment at about 9-9.30 they ran into all these angry but silent Bummers supportors and wondered what the hell was going on. Turned on the telly and all they could see was one goal! He reckoned it was better than getting the 9-1 up!

:)

Scott Brunton is a seriously good trainer, seems like a ripping bloke too.

Queen Leonora chance??
She does not have a good record on wet tracks so am not overly keen on her chances. On a dry track she would have an excellent chance and although the track is improving it is still a Soft 7 so will be a watch only. Therefore bet up lol!

Unco's bet this week is $5 each way on Dagny Kensington-Randwick Race 6 no 11. Will take the $17/$5 being offered at the moment.

Good punting all - particularly those taking the short odds Mystic Journey (reckon she is unders, have had a little each way Fifty Stars)

Brave!

I had half my stake on MJ at $2.1 and ill hope they come for hartnell before i invest the remainder.

I think the weather suggests the track will improve and suit.

Why Brave Bernie? Assume you mean reference to Mystic Journey being unders. My ratings have her $2.80 (clear top pick) and think she will win, but also have Fifty Stars at $10 (a price I was able to get) so each way for a bit of fun.
Or did you mean backing Dagny - one of Wallers 6 acceptors in a field of 13? Annoying that one trainer can have so many but agian my ratings have Dagny $2.5 so $17 is massive overs.

Im assuming apprentices can claim which gets Dagny at a feather weight 44?

I'll follow you with a bit EW.

made my first big play of the spring on MJ.

Pretty much pushed my whole remaining 2019 budget into the centre of the table

If she doesn't win, I'll have to wait until the tigers make the GF to punt again

She’s back!!!!!

The great Tasmanian money making mare is about to embark on a campaign that will see her sit alongside the best in the world.

That leysy is sure of.

Will she win tomorrow? Only bad luck can prevent it, from that barrier a slight possibility. Would have preferred her drawn wide. She’d still smack them 3 wide no cover.

Haven’t touched her with a $$$ yet except Cox plate at $6.

She will drift further ILHO. Hoping for $2.50 or touch better.

Small $$$ at 2.50 on Betfair atm.

Nah, not leysy’s, she’s ours mate!!

I read an interview with Cummings talking about Hartnell and he goes

'im looking forward to Saturday because we will see how many lengths behind MJ he is'

extraordinary.

Trinder also said 'we want Caulfield to dry out to a soft 5 so she can accelerate', which it has.

I'll be letting any winnings I collect tomorrow ride her all the way through spring.

She'll run at some pretty skinny odds I imagine, but should compound to around 14's in the CP I reckon?

prepare for take off.

note # I dont think she will drift. with the track drying out, I think she'll start at evens. I dont mind the barrier. she definitely likes to be outside a horse, but I think the speed map suggests from barrier 2, she will be one off the fence a couple of lengths behind the leader on the turn.

Boom.

Ive asked mr t to dig up the party hat emoticon.

Were gonna need it this spring
