How’s the forward planning with Special k for The Everest?
imhoihni.
I dont think its a race I'd bet on Bernie. If I did on the futures, I think I'd back Nature Strip (I reckon the ATC will give him their slot, I would).
Too many chances and timing would be hard to manage K's campaign?
he's first up this sat over 1200, 70 days before the Everest over 1200. what would they do? give him 3 runs in the next month out to a mile, and then freshen him?
If he was mine, I'd be aiming for The Epsom 4th up on GF day.
I know the Everest is worth $10m, but surely an Epsom mile would add more stud value?
Ive got a hunch he'll go to the Epsom peaking 4th up
Missile, Memsie, Makybe Diva, Epsom? I think he'll win 'em all except the MD against Winx and depending on how he was weighted in The Epsom (and If Avdulla isnt allowed within 200m of him).
also, I dont get why Godolphin havnt bought their own Everest slot? $600K is loose change. If they had their won slot, they could target the Epsom, and then have a crack at The Everest for the fun of it.
But as it stands, the slot owner will dictate his campaign, and it certainly wont include The Epsom.
what do you reckon?
edit: just saw this, with Godolphin confirming The Memsie as 'the fork in the road' - obviously left is The Epsom or right is the Everest are the two destinations. If they go left, it would be the Makybe Diva, if
they go right, youde reckon it would be The Rupert Clarke Sept 22 over 1400, then a 3 week freshen up for The Everest?

the bookies think he's going left also I reckon, cause he's $11 for the Rupert Clarke, $7.50 for the Everest, and $6 for The Epsom.
