Players that sense contact, drop their knees and throw their head back like whiplash in a 90's TAC commercial absolutely BOIL MY URINE.

It's the worst thing in footy.

Time to call out these cheating squibs

I nominate Jack Ginnivan

I nominate Kysiah Pickett

Don't blame the player, blame the rules that pander to it.

Re Selwood, with all we are learning about CTE, I'd be worried if I was him.

Nah mate, there should be a rule that stops players getting clotheslined WWE style.

I'm talking about players that fake that reaction, often without any contact, to get a free kick.

It's a blight on the game.

No one really fakes contact, they drop the knees or raise the shoulder. That's pretty hard to police and makes the job of the umpires even more difficult. At the risk of sounding like one of our apparently departed moderators, the umpires aren't as big a problem as there being too many rules and too many rules that are very subjective.

Couldn't agree more that our game has become impossible to umpire.

Couldn't agree less that players don't fake contact.

Share your concern about the MIA status of TBR. Hope all is ok

Yeah I really hate it and it *smile* me whenever our blokes stray that way too.
Add that other squib from the team of the century ...... Charlie Spargo... throws his head back BEFORE he gets the pill.

Btw... Love the thread title.. Selwood whinging recently that he doesn't understand why he's booed, proves that the bloke has definitely had to many concussions!

The 'protect the head at all costs' rules are actually achiving the opposite of what they set out to do. If they stopped paying kicks to players that are trying to initiate head high contact-then there would be a lot less head I contact. It's so "smile"ing obvious it does my head in.

Same with the rule regarding diving at the legs for the ball. One player has a bad injury and a hundred years of going for the ball when it is on the ground goes up in smoke.

Corey Weightman, "Crumples" MaCrea. Geez talk about serial offenders, What *smiles* me about this whole staging thing is that NOT ONE medja idiot calls them out about it.

But a couple of seasons ago the absolute stink fest that was spouted about Grimes (who only did it a couple of times) & Rance (again only did it ONCE) was absolutely deplorable.

This is only 1 of the many reasons that I no longer watch, listen to, or read any of the tripe that the AFL media foist upon us.

AFL rectum licking suckholes that they are.

I posted about Mathieson’s ducking the other day and I’ve since found this video. 6 ducking frees on debut. Absolute GOAT. HOF ducker:

Hahaha.

Invited players need to wear their most extravagant bowtie.

Something that really glitters when they throw their head back without any contact whatsoever

I’m pissing myself laughing when I picture the winner of the award being presented with the medal. Ducking and weaving as the presenter tries to slip the medal over their heads :ROFLMAO:

Ginnivans knees were about 4-6 inches from ground on one of the high tackles he milked. His neck instantly replaces waist tackling zone making it impossible in the split second the tackler has to identify the cheat move and adjust

One of my sons did AusKick with Ginnivan and has played with him and against him at junior footy level up to the U18s. We were both pretty pumped about him being drafted and watched his first few games together. It's pretty sad where he's ended up so early in his career. He can really play-but he's just a joke at the moment. I don't think he will last too long at the top if he keeps this bs up. Even his strongest supporters up here are embarassed for him.

Ginnivan, Cryin Gryan and Weightman are just mop haired campaigners who are professional divers and free kick milkers.

If they paid free kicks for htb when someone ducks, seeing it as prior opportunity, you’d see instances of it decrease dramatically.
