I don’t think even Sydney would be dumb enough to take on Grundy’s 7 million, 7 year contract.

I think this course of action limits the ability of Eddie to rewrite history, but yes they could make a deal

The Beams situation is a huge issue. They have asked the AFL and they have told them its there issue to sort out and Beams wont sign off anything without the money which is owed to him.
That's a huge mess.
Who ever approved the Beams Trade would have to be close to being sacked.

Yeah in this day and age that's probably fair enough. Although it could be said a knee injury is related directly to football whereas mental health may or may not be. But I guess if you got hit by a car outside of the footy club you'd still get paid so I see the argument.
