His options:Has he said in recent media (before today) what his plan was re coaching Collingwood eg "I plan to see my contract out" or "I want to coach Collingwood in 2022"?
Wouldn't that be fun...His options:
- Accepts a godfather offer from North Melbourne. Second time lucky.
- Follow his mentor from Collingwood to Carlton.
I may be in the minority, but I think he’s a good coach and I enjoy listening to him, particularly the contempt with which he treats Robbo.
I think their list has been massively overrated (they haven’t had a key forward since Travis Cloke) so to perform like they did from 2018-2020 was a pretty good achievement. Not to mention their disastrous list management and salary cap.
If they win in 2018 (shudder) we wouldn’t be here.

Reckon they’ll look at Lyon real hard. Which would be good. Doesn’t have a great track record where building or performing with young, inexperienced stocks is concerned.Knowing Collingwood they will be after Clarkson.
2nd option Lyon
3rd Mitchell
4th Mark Neeld
