The I ❤️ Collingwood thread.

Win or lose the Mudpies dominate the news in the HS.

They must have shares in that paper.

Today, page after page on them

A wonderful train wreck before our very eyes.

Keep messing around with Moore's career Pies. He will do very nicely at Punt Road when Astbury has decided he's had enough.

You'd like to think Moore's old man has told him the terror that is playing for Collingwood

Moore played a total of 249 matches and was unlucky not to play in a premiership side considering he played in the Magpies' losing Grand Final teams of 1977, 1979, 1980 and 1981.

In at least two them his opponent thrashed him. Balme and Fitzpatrcick.

The Pies are a mess, in no small part because of the way players were treated during last years trading period. While Adam Treloar has been quiet on the issue, his fellow players must have been left in no doubt that contracts mean nothing to both Buckley and his clique.

As the club looks around for alternatives and the rot
further impacts with associated publicity to follow, maybe the Board jumps in to defend Bucks and offers an extension.
The longer the better.

The free passes being allocated to Buckley are astonishing really.
Exactly
I would of thought Tony Shaw was/is held in higher regard then Buckley.
But compare the way Shaw was treated back in 1999.

Thats part of it. But ive always thought they have had an average team and it wouldn't take much to dismantle it.
Penderbury looks frustrated and the jibber Sidebottom is finished

The culture was never going to recover after the club shafted Trealol, Phillips and Stephenson. Particularly the underhanded way it was done. Trust is broken and can’t be recovered until Buckley and co are gone. Buckley will go this year or else their will be a mass player walk out

Makes you wonder how De Goey and the worlds greatest ruckman feels. After all, it was pretty much their contracts, and to a lesser extent Moore, that made them lose the players they did. Oh well, boo hoo.

The funniest part of it all is it that they might still lose one of those 3 when they hit rock bottom.

A board challenge on the cards according to Parrot.

Pies are a mess.
Jeff Browne, Eddie's mate and 2IC when Eddie was CEO of channel 9 is all the talk. You'd have to think that McGuire is pushing for that behind the scenes, after he got forced out of Collingwood.

Don’t forget the beams deal. And the silly contracts for average players in Mayne and Greenwood.
